🇺🇸Trump Shines At Super Bowl 59

Just as he hits record approval rating

📝 From The Desk Of Clayton Keirns, Editor In Chief 📍San Diego, CA 🌊

WOW. What a weekend…

Although Super Bowl 59 wasn’t much of a game (Congrats to the Philadelphia Eagles🦅), we learned something very important about our country last night:

Things are getting back to “normal”. (And boy, does it feel good)

First of all, President Trump was not only welcomed with roaring applause from the Super Bowl crowd, but we as Americans also saw commercials that promoted American and family values. Of course there were a few “woke” ads here and there, but overall the entire night just simply felt different.

Even the NFL itself is seemingly embracing Trump.

As X user Jake Schneider points out, the official NFL X account featured Trump in a tweet for the first time in history.

Trump simply shined in this atmosphere. In the days leading up to the Super Bowl, he even tweeted multiple times about it. Why? Because he cares about what Americans care about. He knows how special of a day Super Bowl Sunday is. How rich in tradition it is.

President Trump is one of the best “cheerleaders” for America we’ve ever had, and I’m so happy to know he is back as our Commander in Chief.

With that said, let’s turn our attention to his approval rating and the rest of the newsletter from our brand new “Trump Tracker” & TrendingPolitics contributors Mike Luso.

Trump’s Approval Rating Stuns His Biggest Critics

By Mike Luso

In a shocking turn of events, a new CBS Poll has the start of President Trump’s second term with net positive marks from the American people.

A record high 53% approval of his overall rob rating.

Yes, you read that right.

And while this may be shocking for our progressive neighbors, it isn’t for a majority of the American people. So when conservatives say Trump has received a “mandate” from the American people, this is what they mean. This time around it’s becoming increasingly more difficult for Democrats to paint Mr. 47 as the villain they want him to be.

In fact, in the same CBS Poll, most described Trump as “tough,” “energetic,” “focused” and “effective.” We can boil it down to this: He’s is doing, in the eyes of the public, exactly what he said he promised during his campaign.

LA ICE Raids Leaked

ICE is planning to perform raids in Los Angeles before the end of February, which aim to target illegal aliens and those with existing deportation orders.

Unfortunately, internal government documents were leaked to The Los Angeles Times regarding these raids.

Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, condemned the leaks, arguing they jeopardize officer safety and hinder arrests and pointed to the operation in Colorado where details were also compromised leading to a reduced number of detained criminals, including suspected Tren de Aragua gang members.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi commented on the leaks on the "Fox Report" on Sunday:

"Well, you know, if anyone leaks anything, people don’t understand that it jeopardizes the lives of our great men and women in law enforcement, and if you leaked it, we will find out who you are, and we will come after you," Bondi said. "It’s not going to stop our mission. It’s not going to stop the president’s mission to make America safe again."

ICE’s Enforcement Removal Operations in L.A. does post regularly on X about people they’ve arrested, including a Mexican national convicted of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14, another wanted for murder in Mexico, a woman convicted of driving under the influence and an alleged Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang member.

A growing number of protests are also expected to happen in Los Angeles causing law enforcement to remain on high alert.

Pre-Super Bowl Interview: Trump on Bret Baier

Before the Super Bowl began, President Trump announced that Elon Musk will investigate wasteful spending in the Education and Defense Departments.

In an interview with Fox News' Bret Baier, Trump praised Musk’s role in the DOGE, which has been tracking federal spending since January 20. Trump asserted the investigations could uncover “hundreds of billions” in fraud and waste, saying Americans elected him to cut red tape.

And he is correct here. Remember that CBS Poll? Well 70% of Americans say he is doing exactly what he promised during his campaign, so no surprises there.

Democrats, however, are losing their minds over Elon’s efforts. Last week, 30 House members, including Maxine Waters, attempted to enter the Department of Education to protest possible cuts.

Republicans, including Trump, have long supported shutting down the Education Department, arguing states should control education policy. Trump also suggested his Education Secretary pick, Linda McMahon, should work to “put herself out of a job.”

Trump DOUBLES Lawsuit Against CBS

Despite such great polling numbers from CBS, Trump is going full send and has decided to DOUBLE the value of his lawsuit against them.

To refresh your memory, this is the lawsuit originally filed in October that accuses 60 Minutes of violating Texas consumer fraud laws by selectively editing Harris’ remarks on the Gaza war. President Trump has now amended it, increasing his claim to $20 billion.

Let me give you some context here.

Last week CBS released full transcripts and video of its Harris interview after a demand from the Federal Communications Commission. The transcript revealed that CBS used one portion of Harris’ response on “Face the Nation” and a different portion the next day on “60 Minutes.”

The lawsuit argues that the full transcript shows that the entire interview was “manipulated.”

“Defendants’ tampering went way beyond the exchange about Prime Minister Netanyahu,” the suit alleges. “This was a full-blown cover-up of an incompetent candidate in Harris, substantially motivated by commercial gain and rabid partisanship.”

The amended complaint adds a federal Lanham Act claim, alleging CBS’ editing unfairly harmed Trump’s media ventures, including Truth Social, by diverting viewership and ad revenue. The lawsuit also argues that CBS engaged in a “cover-up” to protect Harris, removing portions of the interview that made her appear incompetent.

And of course, CBS is seeking to dismiss the lawsuit, arguing its editorial choices are protected under the First Amendment.

Democrats Prepare to Shut Down the Government?

Democratic Sen. Andy Kim (N.J.) warned Sunday that Democrats are prepared to shut down the federal government over President Trump’s recent actions.

This is expected of Democrat behavior.

Speaking on Meet the Press, Kim accused the Trump administration of “lawlessness” and said Democrats would not fund a government being “dismantled.”

Democrats oppose Trump’s decision to shutter the U.S. Agency for International Development and are hysteric that Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency were given access to the federal payment system, which handles $6 trillion annually.

Kim dramatically described the situation as a “constitutional crisis.”

With a funding deadline looming in March, Kim warned that Republicans should not expect Democratic votes to pass a budget. “They have needed our votes for every continuing resolution, and they should not count on that this time,” he said.
