🇺🇸 Ukraine Accepts Trump Peace Deal

Happy Tuesday, Patriots!

President Donald Trump just scored his biggest diplomatic win yet: Ukraine has formally agreed to the core terms of a Trump-brokered peace deal, a U.S. official confirmed Tuesday. It’s the clearest sign that the nearly four-year war may finally be nearing an end.

Kyiv and Washington have reached a “shared understanding” of the plan, with Ukrainian national security adviser Rustem Umerov saying the remaining details are minor — and that President Zelenskyy could travel to Washington this month to finalize the agreement with Trump.

The breakthrough came as U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll held quiet, all-day negotiations with Russian officials in Abu Dhabi, part of a trilateral effort involving U.S., Ukrainian, and Russian envoys working in separate rooms.

Officials aren’t revealing the full terms yet, but both sides say the framework is real — and the closest either has come to ending Europe’s bloodiest conflict in decades.

Ukraine has agreed to the major terms of a peace deal brokered by the Trump administration that would end the war with Russia. U.S. officials confirmed that while some minor details still need to be worked out, Ukrainian representatives reached a common understanding with American negotiators during talks in Geneva and Abu Dhabi. The agreement comes after the original 28-point proposal was revised down to 19 points following pushback from Ukrainian and European officials who called the initial framework too favorable to Russia.

On a lighter note, Trump welcomed Thanksgiving week at the White House with the traditional turkey pardon ceremony alongside First Lady Melania. The two participated in the Rose Garden event where they officially spared a pair of turkeys before the holiday.

🌍 Trump Speaks With Chinese President Xi
President Trump issued a Truth Social post in which he characterized his phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping as very good. Trump said he just had a very good telephone call with President Xi, of China, and they discussed many topics including Ukraine/Russia, Fentanyl, Soybeans and other Farm Products. Trump wrote that they have done a good, and very important, deal for Great Farmers and it will only get better, and that the relationship with China is extremely strong. The call was a follow up to their highly successful meeting in South Korea three weeks ago, and since then, there has been significant progress on both sides in keeping agreements current and accurate. Trump said President Xi invited him to visit Beijing in April, which he accepted, and he reciprocated where Xi will be his guest for a State Visit in the U.S. later in the year. According to China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Xi outlined China's principled position on the Taiwan question and underscored that Taiwan's return to China is an integral part of the post-war international order.

⚖️ DOJ Files Motion to Officially Unseal Epstein Docs
The Justice Department asked a federal judge to unseal grand jury materials and lift protective orders in the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases after President Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Signed by Trump on Nov. 19, the law requires Attorney General Pam Bondi to release all unclassified records, communications and investigative materials related to Epstein within 30 days. The department asked the court to expedite the unsealing of grand jury transcripts and exhibits and to modify orders that block public release of discovery materials. The department argued that Congress explicitly authorized disclosure under the law, overriding the secrecy of grand jury proceedings outlined in the Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure. The judge in the Maxwell case set a briefing schedule, ordering Maxwell to file her position by Dec. 3, and directed prosecutors to notify victims, who may submit letters to the court by the same date.

🦃 Trump Kicks Off Thanksgiving Week With Turkey Pardon
President Trump kicked off Thanksgiving week with some classic White House holiday traditions. Trump and first lady Melania Trump took part in Washington's annual turkey pardon. The lighthearted ceremony took place in the Rose Garden, where the president spared two lucky birds ahead of Thanksgiving. The White House often lets the public get involved in naming the turkeys, usually selecting from fan submissions, and this year, the first lady asked people to vote on X, sharing a shortlist of possible names. First lady Melania Trump will also welcome the official White House Christmas tree, marking the start of the season at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. This year's tree comes from Korson's Tree Farms in Sidney Township, Michigan, which is about an hour northeast of Grand Rapids.

🤖 Trump Launches Mission to Supercharge AI Innovation
President Trump signed an executive order aimed at bolstering U.S. artificial intelligence initiatives as it unveiled its new Genesis Mission to accelerate AI use for scientific purposes. The Genesis Mission will direct the Department of Energy and the Office of Science and Technology Policy and their national labs to work with private companies to share federal data sets, advanced supercomputing capabilities, and scientific facilities. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright said the private sector has launched artificial intelligence at huge scale, but with a little bit different focus on language, on business, on processes, on consumer services, and what they're doing is just pivoting those efforts to focus on scientific discovery and engineering advancements. Additionally, the executive order instructs the Department of Energy and national labs to create an integrated platform aimed at expediting scientific discovery, in an attempt to connect AI capability with scientists, engineers, technical staff, and the labs' scientific instruments. Trump hinted an effort like this was in the works during the U.S.-Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, where he said the U.S. would work to build the largest, most powerful, most innovative AI ecosystem in the world.

🔔 Ukraine Accepts Trump Peace Deal 🔔

Ukraine has agreed to a peace deal that would see an end to the war with Russia, a U.S. official confirmed. Some minor details of the agreement are still to be sorted out, the official said. Lt. Col. Jeff Tolbert, a spokesman for U.S. Army Secretary Dan Driscoll, said that Driscoll and his team met with Russian officials in Abu Dhabi on Monday and Tuesday to discuss the framework for a Ukraine peace deal. Tolbert said the talks are going well and they remain optimistic, and that Secretary Driscoll is closely synchronized with the White House and the U.S. interagency as these talks progress.

A U.S. official said that the Ukrainian delegation was also in Abu Dhabi and was in contact with Driscoll and his team. The diplomatic flurry over the weekend followed the leak of the 28-point peace plan, which many European leaders and U.S. lawmakers viewed as largely favorable to Russia. Rep. Don Bacon said the initial proposal by U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff was a surrender document for Ukraine that would have left it at the mercy of Russia for decades to come. Bacon said the latest version, developed with Secretary of State Marco Rubio's involvement and input from Ukrainian and European officials, was a better plan.

The original proposal, a 28-point plan, has now been revised down to a 19-point plan. That plan included provisions for Ukraine to cede some of the land Russia gained during the war as well as the shrinkage of Ukraine's Armed Forces. Those latter points, along with a point on the issue of amnesty regarding acts committed during the war, have reportedly been removed from the plan.

European leaders have also had concerns about the loss of land for Ukraine, which they believe rewards Russia's aggression, and the limitations placed on the size of Ukraine's armed forces. Ukraine would also never be permitted to join NATO under the plan. Ukraine's decision to agree to the deal came hours after Russia launched an overnight attack on Kyiv that killed at least six people and injured 13. The strikes on residential buildings and civilian infrastructure came as U.S. and Ukrainian officials met over the weekend in Geneva to discuss the peace plan being pushed by the Trump administration to end the nearly four-year war.

Rustem Umerov, Ukraine's secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, cited the talks in Geneva in addressing his country's agreement to major parts of a peace plan. Umerov wrote that Ukrainian delegations reached a common understanding on the core terms of the agreement discussed in Geneva, and that they now count on the support of European partners in further steps. Umerov added that his country looks forward to Zelenskyy visiting the U.S. at the earliest suitable date in order to complete final steps and make a deal with President Trump.

🍟 Quick Bite News 🍟

📱 Elon Musk's X platform recently rolled out a new feature that shows the location that accounts operate from, and X users flocked to popular anonymous accounts to check where they are located. Users began sharing screenshots of what they found, revealing that many of the MAGA accounts sowing division and infighting within the conservative movement are actually based in foreign nations, including India, Nigeria and Bangladesh. Conservative commentator Gunther Eagleman said this new feature has to be one of his favorite ones X has ever added, noting that an Austrian has been running a Republicans against Trump page. Notably, after being caught, some foreign-based accounts posing as U.S. citizens began using a VPN to appear as though they are in the United States, but users began noting that an exclamation point next to the account's location reveals they are using a VPN.

✈️ Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo discussed the deeper meaning behind the Trump administration's military buildup in the Caribbean, saying the administration understands that this is all part of a larger puzzle. The White House has yet to issue an official statement on Operation Southern Spear, the largest military operation in that region since the Cuban Missile Crisis, with more than 20 strikes against suspected drug trafficking boats. When asked whether he thinks President Trump wants to see Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro toppled, Pompeo shared that he thinks the Trump administration is very serious about continuing to ratchet up the pressure on the regime such that the Venezuelan people get an opportunity to have a leadership that can actually protect them and give them a shot at prosperity.

💰 President Trump suggested that the full benefit of tariffs has not yet been realized because their impact has been blunted by stockpiles of goods amassed to avoid paying the tariffs, but he suggested that those stockpiles are dwindling and the full force of his tariffs will soon take hold. Trump declared that despite the massive amount of money being made by the United States of America, hundreds of billions of dollars, as a direct result of tariffs being charged to other countries, the full benefit has not yet been calculated. Trump wrote that the heavy inventory purchase is now wearing thin, and soon tariffs will be paid on everything they apply to, without avoidance, and the amounts payable to the USA will skyrocket, over and above the already historic levels of dollars received.

📺 View co-host Joy Behar invited President Trump on the ABC News talk show as the co-hosts discussed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's resignation and his criticisms of the conservative lawmaker. Trump called out Greene over her appearance on The View in a Truth Social post earlier this month, writing that “Lightweight Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Brown betrayed the entire Republican Party when she turned Left, performed poorly on the pathetic View, and became the RINO that everyone knows she always was.” The invitation was met with laughter and applause from the co-hosts, and co-host Ana Navarro pointed out that several members of the Trump family had appeared on the show.

✈️ The Biden administration allegedly pressured U.S. airports to house migrants despite warnings that it could compromise safety and put travelers at risk, according to a Senate report. The 47-page document, titled Flight Risk and released by the Senate Commerce Committee, alleges the White House directed the Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, and Federal Transit Administration to find airport facilities for shelters or processing centers for migrants. According to the report, the administration instructed DOT and FAA to inventory available facilities at both federally owned and local airports and to divert federal resources to support migrant arrivals. The committee found that at least 11 airports, including Boston Logan, Chicago O'Hare, and New York's JFK, were asked or even pressured to house migrants inside terminals, hangars or auxiliary buildings.
