Happy Wednesday, Patriots!

The Trump administration has imposed an immediate pause on immigration from 19 high-risk countries, launching a sweeping re-review of migrants who entered the U.S. after Jan. 20, 2021.

The moveone of the administration’s most aggressive security actions to date — comes days after an Afghan national was charged in the deadly shooting of two National Guard soldiers in Washington, D.C.

The pause applies to Afghans, Somalis, Iranians, Venezuelans, and others from nations already under partial or full travel restrictions. All green card and citizenship applications from these countries are now frozen, and even applicants who already passed their citizenship tests will not be sworn in until the pause is lifted.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem defended the action, saying Biden-era policies “invited terrorists in,” and that the administration is now tasked with “getting them out.”

President Trump has declared that pardons, executive orders, proclamations, and other documents signed with an "unauthorized" autopen signature under the Biden administration are now "terminated." Biden routinely used the autopen to sign documents, and it has been revealed since he left office that the autopen, which prints a signature on documents, had been used without his explicit authorization. The left will be having a field day over this one, for sure.

Meanwhile, President Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff, accompanied by Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner, met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow to promote Trump's plan for peace in Ukraine. Putin suggested the current attitude of the Europeans would preclude them from playing a role in further negotiations if the meeting with Witkoff went well, unless the Europeans "take into account the realities on the ground" and adjust their expectations accordingly. Time will tell if the negotiations produce a meaningful shift toward an official peace agreement.

💰 Trump Floats Eliminating Income Tax
President Trump suggested that Americans may "not even have income tax to pay" in the near future, saying tariff-driven revenue could allow for the historic elimination of the federal income tax under his tenure. Trump told a press gaggle after his cabinet meeting that "at some point in the not too distant future you won't even have income tax to pay," arguing that revenue the government is collecting under his administration is now "so great… so enormous." The president added that "whether you get rid of it or just keep it around for fun or have it really low, much lower than it is now, but you won't be paying income tax." Earlier in his second administration, the president floated a tax plan eliminating income tax for individuals earning under $150,000, with tariffs proposed as a replacement. Trump told podcaster Joe Rogan when asked if he was serious about eliminating personal income taxes, "Yeah, sure, why not?" and said tariffs could fund the government instead of wage taxes.

🏛 Trump Signs Medal of Honor Act
President Trump signed into law the Medal of Honor Act, which directs the Department of Veterans Affairs to "increase the rate of the special monthly pension payable to living Medal of Honor recipients." The 63 living Medal of Honor recipients receive a special pension of $16,880 annually, but the Medal of Honor Act now increases that pension "to around $67,500 annually, a nearly fourfold increase." Rep. Troy Nehls, who sponsored the legislation, said that Medal of Honor recipients "never ask for special recognition or demand special treatment." Nehls added that "many of the living Medal of Honor recipients spend most of their time traveling our country, telling their stories inspiring the next generation of America's heroes." The move "ensures Medal of Honor recipients are rightfully compensated with an increase to their pension after their military service is over," according to the White House.

💰 Trump Applauds Dell's $6.25 Billion Gift
Michael and Susan Dell joined President Trump at the White House to discuss their $6.25 billion gift for 25 million American children aged ten and under with Trump accounts. Trump lauded the Dells for their generosity during a press conference before reporters in the Roosevelt Room, alongside Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Sen. Ted Cruz, and others. The Dells' gift will go to the Trump accounts of 25 million children who are under the age of ten and live in zip codes where the annual median income is less than $150,000. The Trump accounts were established in the Invest America Act, which was part of the One Big Beautiful Bill that Trump signed into law in July. Michael Dell said that the Invest America Act has provided a platform not just for families and friends to invest in America's youth, but also for communities, companies, and philanthropists.

💬 Trump Slams Somali Migrants
Somali migrants should go home to fix up their own country, President Trump told his cabinet meeting. Trump's comments will likely prompt Democrats to defend Somali migrants amid the growing evidence of widespread theft, embezzlement, migration fraud, and welfare cheating by many of the almost 100,000 government-imported Somali migrants in the state. Trump told his cabinet meeting that "I don't want them in our country," adding: "Their country is no good for a reason. Their country stinks … We got to, we have to rebuild our country … [Rep.] Ilhan Omar [D-MN] is garbage. She's garbage. Her friends are garbage. These aren't people that work." Trump's criticism of the migrant Somali population comes amid growing evidence that many leading Somalis embezzled more than $1 billion from various aid and welfare programs for autistic children, hungry children, coronavirus aid, homebuyers, and sick people. It is difficult for Somali migrants to assimilate into the individualistic U.S. culture, which is far different from their clannish, conflict-prone, Islam-dominated nation that has been wrecked by multiple civil wars since the 1970s.

🔔 Trump Terminates All Biden Autopen Actions 🔔

President Trump announced that he has "completely terminated" every action signed by former President Joe Biden using the autopen, declaring those measures null and void. Trump posted that "any and all Documents, Proclamations, Executive Orders, Memorandums, or Contracts, signed by Order of the now infamous and unauthorized 'AUTOPEN,' within the Administration of Joseph R. Biden Jr., are hereby null, void, and of no further force or effect." The president added that anyone receiving "Pardons," "Commutations," or any other legal document so signed should be advised that said document has been "fully and completely terminated, and is of no Legal effect."

The announcement marks Trump's follow-through on a pledge he made last week, when he wrote that "any document signed by Sleepy Joe Biden with the Autopen, which was approximately 92% of them, is hereby canceling and of no further force or effect." Trump has spent months arguing that Biden relied on the autopen for everything from executive orders to national-emergency extensions to routine certifications. He has said Biden used it so frequently that "staff were effectively running the government with a machine." The list of possibly voided pardons does not include Hunter Biden, as that was signed by hand.

The alleged autopen pardon list includes Dr. Anthony Fauci, brother James Biden, Gen. Mark Milley, and members and staff of the House committee investigating Jan. 6, totaling more than 1,500 people in Biden's end-of-term pardon spree. Federal defense attorney Ronald Chapman II stated that Trump has the authority to void executive actions taken under Biden's autopen if the device was used without Biden's approval, explaining that "if anybody used the autopen without Joe Biden's express permission, without him deciding that a pardon is OK, it's going to be an invalid signature, and the force and effect of that signature makes it moot."

Legal experts say autopen-signed presidential actions remain valid as long as the president authorized them, regardless of who physically operated the device. According to a 2005 memo from the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Legal Counsel, a president need not personally affix his signature: he may direct a subordinate or a mechanical device such as an autopen to sign on his behalf. With the president's authorization, the mode of signature is immaterial. But if a president truly had no knowledge of the device's use or did not consent to the signature, some scholars argue those actions could be challengeable.

Biden aides previously acknowledged he used the autopen for executive orders, ceremonial proclamations, condolence letters, holiday statements, and emergency-status renewals, especially when traveling or recovering from medical procedures. A GOP-led House Oversight Committee report questioned the legitimacy of numerous executive actions with an autopen, alleging they sometimes lacked clear proof of Biden's personal approval.

The Committee urged the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate potential misuse of presidential authority. Trump claimed in his post that 92% of Biden's documents were signed with the autopen device, and over 160 executive orders were signed during the Biden administration. Trump has proven again that he will not tolerate the erosion of presidential authority by unauthorized bureaucratic workarounds.

🗳 Matt Van Epps, the Republican candidate for Congress in Tennessee's 7th Congressional District, defeated his Democrat opponent, Aftyn Behn, in a special election. President Trump called for "all America First Patriots in Tennessee's 7th Congressional District to please GET OUT AND VOTE" for Van Epps.

💬 The White House refused to apologize for using one of pop singer Sabrina Carpenter's songs, after she said the use of it in an Immigration and Customs Enforcement video was "evil." White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson sent a statement that the Trump administration "won't apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles." Jackson said, "Here's a Short n' Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we won't apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country."

Luna explained that after a "bipartisan coalition" and a talk with Rep. Tim Burchett, they had decided to "initiate the discharge petition on banning insider trading." Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has previously stated that he would push "for this single-stock trading ban," adding that Americans "deserve better than" to have Congressional lawmakers getting rich off of insider stock trading.

⚖️ The Republican National Committee is suing Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson over allegations that state election law intrinsically violates the state's constitution by allowing non-residents to vote in the state's elections. The lawsuit centers around "those who haven't lived in the state but are the spouses of military and overseas Michigan voters and children born to residents of the state." RNC Chairman Joe Gruters stated that individuals who have never lived in Michigan should not have a say in the state's elections, accusing Benson of "ignoring" the state constitution by allowing this practice to go on.
