🇺🇸 Trump Tells DHS to Ignore Riots in Democrat Cities
Happy Monday, Patriots!
President Trump just announced a sweeping renovation of one of Washington’s most iconic cultural landmarks. The Kennedy Center will close for roughly two years starting July 4, making way for a full-scale rebuild and revitalization.
Trump says the temporary shutdown will allow faster construction and a higher-quality result. His goal: transform the newly renamed Trump–Kennedy Center into a world-class entertainment complex that rivals anything on Earth.
The president emphasized that funding is already secured and promised a reopening defined by beauty, grandeur, and American excellence. Advisors and contractors agree that a full closure is the smartest path forward.
With the nation approaching its 250th anniversary, Trump is once again putting his stamp on history — rebuilding America’s institutions bigger, better, and stronger.

Trump instructed DHS Secretary Kristi Noem that under no circumstances will the administration participate with various poorly run Democrat cities regarding their protests and riots unless those cities ask for help. Trump wrote on Truth Social that federal forces will guard any and all federal buildings being attacked by protesters, while ICE and Border Patrol have been directed to be very forceful in protecting federal government property. Trump warned there will be no spitting in faces of officers, no punching or kicking headlights of cars, and no rock or brick throwing at vehicles or officers.
Trump had a fiery message for Minnesota's Democrat leaders, saying the theft and fraud in Minnesota is far greater than the $19 billion originally projected. The president zeroed in on Rep. Ilhan Omar and Gov. Tim Walz, calling Omar a scammer who should be in jail or sent back to Somalia and labeling Walz either the most corrupt government official in history or the most incompetent. The DOJ under former President Biden opened an investigation into Omar's finances when reports suggested her net worth grew by $30 million after she was elected.

⚖️ Trump Threatens Lawsuits Over Alleged Political Conspiracy
Trump threatened legal action against author Michael Wolff and the estate of Jeffrey Epstein after more than 3 million Epstein-related records and personal emails were released by the Justice Department on Friday. Trump aboard Air Force One said it looked like Wolff was conspiring with Epstein to do harm to him, calling Wolff a third-rate writer who was conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein to hurt him politically or otherwise. Trump said there was a high likelihood he would sue Wolff and the Epstein estate because Epstein was conspiring with Wolff to do harm to him politically, adding that's not a friend. In one March 2016 email between Epstein and Wolff, Wolff encouraged Epstein to come up with an immediate counter narrative to James Patterson's book about him, writing that Trump offers an ideal opportunity to make the story about something other than Epstein while letting Epstein frame his own story. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche told Fox News that in none of these communications, even when doing his best to disparage Trump, did Epstein suggest Trump had done anything criminal or had any inappropriate contact with any of his victims.
🇮🇷 Trump Says Iran Seriously Talking to US
Trump said he believes Iran is negotiating seriously with the U.S. and stressed he hopes an acceptable deal can be brokered, while reportedly weighing options on a possible military strike on Iran amid widespread protests and a violent crackdown in the country. When asked by a reporter aboard Air Force One whether he had decided on a strike against Iran, Trump responded he certainly couldn't tell the press that, but added the U.S. has very big, powerful ships heading in that direction and he hopes they negotiate something that's acceptable. Trump said Iran could make a negotiated deal that would be satisfactory with no nuclear weapons, adding he doesn't know if they will but they are talking to the U.S. and seriously talking. Trump has said the U.S. will not share military plans with Gulf allies while negotiating with Iran, even as U.S. naval forces surge into the region, telling Fox News the plan is that Iran is talking to the administration and they'll see if they can do something. The USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and associated American warships are in the Arabian Sea, sent by Trump after Tehran's bloody crackdown on nationwide protests, with the president laying out two red lines for military action: the killing of peaceful protesters or the possible mass execution of those detained in a major crackdown.
🏛️ White House Defends Trump's Vision for America's 250th Anniversary
The White House defended Trump's proposal for a 250-foot-tall Independence Arch in Washington, D.C., with White House spokesman Davis Ingle saying the arch is going to be one of the most iconic landmarks not only in Washington but throughout the world, adding Trump's bold vision will be imprinted upon the fabric of America and be felt by generations to come. Trump has expressed a preference for an Independence Arch that could rise as high as 250 feet, a scale that would dramatically alter the skyline near Arlington Memorial Bridge and eclipse both the White House which stands roughly 70 feet and the Lincoln Memorial which rises to about 100 feet. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump said the arch will be the most beautiful in the world but did not confirm the structure's height, saying he'd like it to be the biggest one of all since the U.S. is the biggest, most powerful nation. Trump publicly discussed the idea since late last year when he said construction on an Arc de Triomphe-style monument commemorating America's 250th anniversary could begin within two months, adding it hasn't started yet but will be great and everyone loves it. The monument would be funded privately using leftover donations from the White House ballroom project, though key details surrounding cost, approval process, exact location and final height have not yet been finalized and construction has not yet begun.
💰 Trump Nominates Kevin Warsh for Federal Reserve Chair
Trump announced on Friday he picked Kevin Warsh to succeed Jerome Powell as chair of the Federal Reserve when Powell's term ends in May, writing on Truth Social that he has known Warsh for a long period of time and has no doubt he will go down as one of the great Fed chairmen, maybe the best. Warsh, a former Fed governor with a Wall Street background who served on the Fed Board of Governors from 2006 through 2011, is currently a fellow at the Hoover Institution and lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he gained experience helping navigate the 2008 financial crisis. If confirmed by the Senate, Warsh will take over as chair when Powell's term ends in May, with Trump's choice for Fed chair having far-reaching consequences for almost all consumer borrowing costs and savings rates since the Fed sets the interest rate that banks charge each other for overnight lending. Republican Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina indicated he will block any Fed nominees until the Justice Department probe into Powell is finished, posting that he will oppose the confirmation of any Federal Reserve nominee including for the position of chairman until the DOJ's inquiry into Powell is fully answered. Trump said at the Oval Office on Friday he would not ask Warsh to reduce interest rates, with Warsh expected to be more supportive of cutting the Fed's key benchmark rate later this year in keeping with Trump's push for lower interest rates.

🔔 Trump Tells DHS to Ignore Riots in Democrat Cities 🔔
President Trump announced the federal government will not assist Democrat-led cities with ongoing anti-immigration enforcement riots unless help is requested, adding he has instructed ICE and Border Patrol to be very forceful in protecting federal property. The president wrote on Truth Social that he instructed Noem that under no circumstances will DHS participate in poorly run Democrat cities with regard to protests or riots unless cities ask for help.
Trump clarified the federal government will guard any and all federal buildings being attacked by protesters, calling them highly paid lunatics, agitators and insurrectionists. Trump warned he had instructed ICE and Border Patrol to be very forceful in federal property protection, saying there will be no spitting in faces of officers, no punching or kicking headlights of cars, and no rock or brick throwing at vehicles. He stated those people will suffer an equal or more consequence if they attack federal officers or property.
The statement serves as notice to local governments that they must protect their own state and local property and are obligated to protect federal property including buildings and parks. Trump referenced how protesters in Eugene, Oregon broke into a federal building on Friday night with Eugene Police Department declaring activity at the Federal Building a riot. He wrote that if local governments are unable to handle insurrectionists, agitators and anarchists, federal forces will immediately go to the location where help is requested and take care of the situation very easily and methodically. The president added that complaining local governments, governors and mayors should use the word please if they decide to request federal assistance.
President Trump escalated his attacks on Minnesota Democrat leaders over the massive welfare and daycare fraud scandal in the state, writing on Truth Social that the theft and fraud in Minnesota is far greater than the $19 billion originally projected. Trump claimed the Biden administration knew this fraud was happening and did absolutely nothing about it. He then zeroed in on Omar and Walz, calling Omar a scammer and saying she and her absolutely terrible friends from Somalia should all be in jail right now or be sent back to Somalia. The president wrote that Walz is either the most corrupt government official in history or the most incompetent, adding even a very low IQ person should have known what was going on in Minnesota.
The DOJ under former President Biden opened an investigation into Omar's finances when reports suggested her net worth grew by $30 million after she was elected. Rep. James Comer said he would subpoena Omar's husband Tim Mynett over the couple's suspicious net worth, with Omar and Mynett's financial documents indicating the pair had a net worth of anywhere from $6 million to $30 million by the end of 2024. The billions of dollars in welfare fraud linked to Minnesota's Somali community has raised questions as to what Omar knew and when she knew it, with reports saying Omar has many close ties to organizations, businesses and individuals named in various cases that uncovered massive fraud totaling more than a billion dollars.
Dozens of people, many of them Somali-born or Somali American, have been prosecuted in Minnesota in recent years for alleged large-scale welfare fraud schemes involving food assistance and autism services. Omar has denied being worth millions and claimed conservatives were unfairly targeting her. Trump has accused Omar and Walz of using ICE operations and the protests and riots against federal agents as a way to distract from the fraud scandal. He has also called for Omar to be criminally investigated, with Omar already the subject of a House Oversight Committee investigation into her and husband Tim Mynett's finances. The president has repeatedly singled out Omar in speeches and social media posts, mocking her, accusing her of being a fraud and suggesting she should be removed from the United States. Trump and Walz have clashed on multiple occasions since Walz became Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, with Trump repeatedly tying the governor to Minnesota's fraud scandals and accusing him of failed leadership.
🍟 Quick Bite News 🍟
🛡️ Trump fully supports Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem as Democrats call for her ouster over the handling of the immigration crackdown in the Twin Cities. A source close to Noem told Fox News Digital that Trump spoke to Noem ahead of the Cabinet meeting to relay that she's doing well leading DHS. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries threatened that Noem needs to be put on ice permanently, telling reporters at the Capitol that if Kristi Noem is not fired immediately, impeachment proceedings will commence.
⚖️ Journalist Don Lemon was released from custody after he was arrested and hit with federal civil rights charges over his coverage of an anti-immigration enforcement protest that disrupted a service at a Minnesota church. The arrest brought sharp criticism from news media advocates and civil rights activists, while CNN issued a statement saying the it raises profoundly concerning questions about press freedom.
🎭 Trump said the Trump Kennedy Center will close on July 4 for a two-year period to undergo renovations, posting on Truth Social that construction will begin on what he described as a new and spectacular entertainment complex. Trump said the decision followed a yearlong review involving contractors, arts experts and other advisers, adding that the temporary closure would allow the renovations to be completed faster and at a higher quality. The announcement follows a wave of cancellations by leading performers and groups since the president ousted the previous leadership and added his name to the building.
⚾ Trump shared a letter from the deceased New York Yankees owner George Steinbrenner urging the real estate mogul to run for office years before his first term. The letter dated Feb. 23, 1989, read that Steinbrenner saw Trump on Morton Downey the other night and wrote that Trump “was great and tells it like it is, adding it is like he said to Stephen that Trump should run for President some day and get the whole damn thing straightened out.” Trump and Steinbrenner had a close relationship when the George died in 2010, with Trump telling EXTRA TV at the time that George was the boss and was a great guy.
🏥 Trump and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis are rebuilding their relationship as Florida backs Trump policies, with DeSantis endorsing the Make America Healthy Again initiative that Trump's Department of Health and Human Services has launched. DeSantis' state kicked off its Healthy Florida First initiative in January, an effort across the state to test for contaminants in food products that DeSantis said is in lockstep with the administration's priorities. Trump brushed off their previous conflicts in July 2025 that stemmed from their rivalry in the 2024 election, telling DeSantis during a trip to the Everglades that DeSantis is his friend and will always be his friend.
God bless,
