✅TRACKING TRUMP✅

ACCOUNTABILITY: The Trump White House reaffirmed its stance that press access to the President is a privilege, not a legal right, after a victory against the Associated Press. The administration defended its decision to hold media accountable for "Fake News" while maintaining that President Trump provides an unprecedented level of transparency. The statement emphasized that the Trump administration remains the most open in history.

🇷🇺 RUSSIA: Russian President Vladimir Putin signaled interest in partnering with the U.S. on rare earth mining, including projects in Russian-controlled eastern Ukraine. This follows President Trump's hints at "major economic development transactions with Russia." Putin also proposed supplying aluminum to the U.S. and investing $15 billion in hydropower and aluminum production in Siberia. Meanwhile, Ukraine is finalizing a minerals deal with the U.S., as Europe boosts its military support for Kyiv.

🇲🇽 BORDER ENFORCEMENT: Illegal immigrants are reportedly turning back and returning to their home countries due to President Trump’s strict immigration policies. The shutdown of the "CBP One" app and other enforcement measures have led to a 94% drop in illegal border crossings compared to last year. Meanwhile, interior arrests have surged by 134%, marking a major shift from the previous administration’s approach. This crackdown is being hailed as a major victory for national security.

📱 APPLE INVESTS: Apple CEO Tim Cook announced a $500 billion investment in the U.S. over the next four years, creating 20,000 new jobs, following discussions with President Trump. This move aligns with Trump’s push for tariffs and U.S.-based manufacturing. It adds to a wave of recent investments, including Saudi Arabia’s $600 billion commitment, DAMAC’s $20 billion data center project, and Taiwan’s pledge to expand U.S. investments. Mercedes-Benz and Nippon Steel have also announced plans to grow their American operations.

🤑 Daily Dose of DOGE 🤑

Federal Employee Calls DOGE Reporting Mandate ‘Harassment’ Amid Backlash

A federal worker blasted the Department of Government Efficiency's (DOGE) new mandate requiring employees to report weekly accomplishments, calling it “clearly an attempt to harass” the workforce.

However, Trump has affirmed that the mandate to respond to the emails is non-negotiable.

  • DOGE chief Elon Musk warned that failure to comply could result in job loss, sparking backlash from unions and Democratic lawmakers.

  • MT Snyder, a National Labor Relations Board field examiner, told CNN she felt “infuriated” after receiving the email and called it an effort to “bully and intimidate” workers.

  • She claimed DOGE has no legal authority over her and said she won’t comply unless directed by her agency.

  • Snyder argued the directive is part of a larger plan to ‘gut’ the federal workforce and privatize services for corporate profit.

  • Despite criticism, DOGE maintains the policy is about accountability and reducing government inefficiency.

🧱 Mass Deportations 🧱

Activists Disrupt ICE Raids in Los Angeles Amid Mass Deportation Crackdown

Immigration rights activists in Los Angeles have begun patrolling neighborhoods to alert communities about ICE operations, successfully halting two raids so far.

  • The Community Self-Defense Coalition, a group of over 100 volunteers, said they intervened in raids in Alhambra and San Fernando, warning residents through megaphones.

  • In one case, activists recorded ICE agents in Alhambra, shouting alerts to the community until the agents left without making arrests.

  • The efforts come as President Donald Trump ramps up mass deportations, calling it “the largest deportation operation in American history.”

  • A leaked memo obtained by the LA Times suggested ICE is planning mass roundups in February, targeting those without legal status or with pending removal orders.

  • Despite activists’ efforts to stop removals, the administration remains firm on intensifying immigration enforcement across the country.
