šØāš JOBS REPORT: Marchās jobs report shows the U.S. economy is surging under President Trump, with 228,000 jobs added ā nearly 100,000 more than expected. Private sector employment rose by 209,000 jobs, including strong gains in retail, transportation, and construction. Full-time employment jumped by 459,000, and labor force participation increased by over 230,000. Wages are up nearly 4% over the past year, reflecting broader economic momentum. Unlike the Biden era, where government jobs dominated, just 42% of Marchās job growth came from government and related sectors.
ā¾ DODGERS:ā āPresident Donald Trump welcomed the 2024 World Series Champion Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House on April 7, 2025, celebrating their remarkable season. During the ceremony, Trump praised the team's achievements, highlighting their dedication and talent. Pitcher Clayton Kershaw presented the President with a Dodgers jersey bearing the number 47, symbolizing Trump's position as the 47th President of the United States.ā The President also commended individual players, notably Shohei Ohtani, who made history by becoming the first player to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases in a single season. Trump described Ohtani as "like a movie star" and acknowledged his outstanding performance.
šæ AGRICULTURE: āPresident Trumpās administration is taking major steps to increase timber production and reduce wildfire risk. Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins issued a memo declaring a forest emergency on over 112 million acres of National Forestry System land. This move allows the U.S. Forest Service to bypass red tape, expedite timber harvesting, and remove burdensome environmental reviews. The goal is to strengthen rural economies, boost the American timber industry, and protect communities from wildfires. This action follows Trumpās executive order to increase timber output by 25% and roll back Biden-era restrictions on forest land use.
š AUTO INDUSTRY: President Donald J. Trump's recent trade policies are already producing major results for American workers and consumers. Nissan reversed its decision to cut a shift at its Tennessee plant, keeping both shifts active. General Motors will increase truck production at its Indiana facility. Ford and Stellantis announced they will now offer employee pricing to all U.S. customers. These moves follow trillions in investment flowing into the U.S. in response to Trumpās tariff agenda, with more private capital secured in his first 11 weeks than Biden achieved in four years.

š Week 11: Trumpās Momentum Grows with Border Control, Trade Wins, and Economic Revival š
Week 11 of President Donald J. Trumpās second term delivered yet another wave of decisive victories for the American people ā restoring law and order, reviving industry, and reasserting U.S. leadership on the world stage.
At the southern border, illegal crossings hit a record low ā down 95 percent from last year ā with unaccompanied minor entries also plunging. Major enforcement actions included the arrest of three MS-13 gang members in Florida and New York, the transfer of 17 violent terrorists to El Salvador, and the capture of 40+ Tren de Aragua members in Texas. The Trump Administration also deported an illegal immigrant āinfluencerā who promoted squatting. Since taking office, Trump has deported over 100,000 illegal immigrants and released just nine into the U.S.
On the economic front, President Trumpās reciprocal trade strategy is paying off. His universal baseline tariff plan was praised by the Coalition for a Prosperous America as āa game-changing shiftā to protect American jobs. The National Cattlemenās Beef Association also applauded Trumpās bold stance on unfair agricultural trade barriers. Companies are responding: Nissan preserved U.S. jobs in Tennessee, GM expanded truck production in Indiana, Guardian Bikes and JCB increased domestic investment, and both Ford and Stellantis began offering consumers employee pricing.
Abroad, Trumpās strength continues to reshape global dynamics. He deployed additional military assets to deter Iran, sealed a $2 billion air defense deal with Poland, and secured Finlandās commitment to spend 3 percent of GDP on defense. His calls with Egypt and Vietnam advanced U.S. security and trade interests. Two American citizens detained in Mexico were also brought home.
Domestically, the March jobs report beat expectations for the second straight month, led by a surge in full-time private sector employment. Egg prices dropped 60 percent since January. Trump also signed an executive order to stop ticket scalping and launched the U.S. Investment Accelerator to attract billion-dollar projects.
Federal agencies drove the agenda forward, from slashing DEI and climate regulations to reforming welfare, boosting timber production, restructuring HHS, pursuing justice for crime victims, and holding schools accountable under Title IX. With new ambassadors confirmed and red tape removed, the message is clear: America is back, and itās only getting stronger.

š£ļø Vice President J.D. Vance has stated, "We must take back every piece of U.S. land controlled by China. Not a single blade of grass should be theirs." This declaration underscores the administration's commitment to addressing national security concerns related to foreign ownership of American land, particularly by Chinese entities. The statement reflects ongoing efforts to scrutinize and potentially restrict such foreign investments to protect U.S. interests.
šŗ Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent told Meet the Press that tariffs under President Trumpās first term were economically effective, saying, āA 20% tariff on China led to a 0.7% price level increase over four years. I think thatās pretty good.ā He emphasized that āhouseholds saw real net wages go up,ā noting that wages outpaced inflation during that time. Bessent also stressed the need to manufacture critical goods in the U.S., saying, āWe saw during COVID that [our] supply chains are not resilient.ā He added that President Trump āhas decided that we cannot be at risk like that for our crucial medicines, for our semiconductors, for shipping.ā
šŗ Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick told Face the Nation that trade is now a national security issue, warning, āWe donāt make medicine in this country anymore. We donāt make ships. We donāt have enough steel and aluminum to fight a battle.ā He emphasized that the U.S. is being economically undermined, saying, āWe got to stop having all the countries of the world ripping us off.ā Highlighting Americaās decline as a global investor, Lutnick added, āIn 1980, we were a net investor⦠and now, they own $18 trillion of us, net.ā He warned, āEventually, weāre not going to own America and we are going to be owned by the rest of the world.ā
