HAPPY GOOD FRIDAY, PATRIOTS!

Nick Weston here—President Trump TORCHED Fed Chair Jerome Powell for once again being too slow and too wrong.

While the European Central Bank is cutting interest rates for the 7th time, Powell dropped another “complete mess” of a report, ignoring the obvious:

📉 Oil is down
🥚 Groceries (even eggs!) are down
💰 America is getting rich on tariffs

Trump’s message?
“Too Late should’ve cut rates a long time ago — but he should certainly do it now.”
“His termination can’t come fast enough.”

The truth is simple:

Trump’s economy will roar back, and Powell’s dragging his feet while the American people pay the price.

It’s time for action. It’s time for a Fed that works for America—not against it.

Keep reading to get smart fast on the latest Trump developments.

Curated by Mike Luso

Hey Team! 😎

President Trump’s deal-making genius is reshaping the world, putting America’s strength front and center.

From outmaneuvering China to boosting our fishermen, he’s delivering wins for the nation.

This is leadership that gets results, not headlines.

Dive into his latest victories below!

🤝 MELONI MEETING: President Trump hosted Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, expressing confidence in striking a trade deal with the EU to avoid tariff hikes. “There’s a 100% chance we’ll get it done,” Trump told Fox Business, citing strong ties with Meloni. The talks aim to balance trade deficits, with Meloni pushing for exemptions on Italian goods like wine. EU negotiators face pressure as Trump’s 10% universal tariffs loom. Discussions are set to intensify next month.

🎣 FISHING UNLEASHED: President Trump signed executive orders to boost American commercial fishing in the Pacific, slashing regulations to enhance seafood competitiveness. “We’re restoring our fishermen’s livelihoods,” he said in a White House statement, targeting $2 billion in annual industry growth. The orders lift Obama-era restrictions, allowing expanded access to federal waters. Environmentalists criticized the move, claiming it risks overfishing. Coastal communities, especially in Alaska, celebrated the economic lift.

❄️ HIRING FREEZE EXTENDED: President Trump extended the federal hiring freeze until July 31, aiming to streamline government and cut costs, per the White House. “We’re stopping the bloat,” he declared, targeting a leaner workforce. The freeze, initially set for April, excludes critical roles like border security. Federal unions decried the extension, warning of service delays. The move aligns with Trump’s broader efficiency agenda, impacting 2.1 million civilian employees.

🛑 IMMIGRATION DETENTION SURGE: President Trump’s administration proposed a massive expansion of immigration detention facilities, aiming to add 50,000 beds. “We’re securing our borders,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said, emphasizing public safety, as noted by U.S. News. Plans include new centers in Louisiana, funded by reallocating $1.2 billion from other programs. Critics, including ACLU lawyers, argued it violates humane treatment standards. The policy reflects Trump’s hardline stance on illegal immigration.

🇺🇸 Trump’s Trade Triumph: Outsmarting China 🇨🇳

President Trump’s tariff strategy is bending China to America’s will, proving his unmatched skill in global trade battles. His 145% tariffs on Chinese goods sparked urgent talks, with both sides eyeing a deal within weeks. “China’s calling a lot,” Trump said, highlighting Beijing’s scramble to ease a $1 trillion trade deficit. Trump would not say whether he had spoken directly with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The 10% universal tariffs, paired with a 90-day pause for allies, have isolated China, strengthening America’s hand. When asked if he was concerned about other nations using that isolation as an opportunity to grow closer to China, Trump brushed aside any concerns, saying, "nobody can compete with us." In response to his confidence, supporters on Truth Social and X celebrated Trump’s “4D chess” against Xi Jinping and praised the President’s experience as a master negotiator.

Meanwhile, the world is taking notice. Meetings with Italy’s Giorgia Meloni and Japan’s trade officials, plus Mexico’s swift concessions, show allies racing to secure tariff exemptions. China’s commerce ministry pleaded for an end to “extreme pressure,” but Trump’s advisors, led by Scott Bessent, stand firm.

A successful deal could redirect $7 trillion to U.S. manufacturing, fueling factories from Ohio to Texas. However, some critics, like Senator Mitch McConnell, warned tariffs might drive inflation, a concern echoed in some economic circles.  Trump, criticizing Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, said his "termination cannot come fast enough" after Powell said he expects Trump's tariff policy to cause slower economic growth.

Still, 56% of voters back Trump’s trade agenda, per a Rasmussen poll, seeing it as a bold step to restore America’s economic dominance. This isn’t just negotiation - it’s Trump boldly rewriting the rules of global trade.

🇸🇻 El Salvador’s President Bukele declared alleged MS-13 member Kilmar Abrego Garcia will remain detained, despite Senator Chris Van Hollen’s visit, per Fox News. “Justice prevails,” Bukele said, dismissing U.S. pressure. The White House trolled Van Hollen on Instagram by inviting him to collaborate on a post about Rachel Morin, a woman who was attacked by an MS-13 gang member from El Salvador.

🏦 Nearly 90% of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s staff was cut under Trump’s downsizing. “We’re ending bureaucracy,” DOGE’s Elon Musk said, targeting inefficiencies. Critics warned of weakened consumer protections.
