🇺🇸 Trump Gives Heartfelt Tribute to Charlie Kirk

In partnership with

Patriots,

Investigators are digging deeper into the assassination of Charlie Kirk, and the picture remains foggy.

President Trump revealed that “people on the left” are already under investigation, while Utah Gov. Spencer Cox confirmed the suspect, Tyler Robinson, is refusing to cooperate with authorities.

A new bombshell report says Robinson was living with a transgender partner and may have targeted Kirk over his outspoken views on gender ideology.

FBI sources also confirm multiple left-wing groups in Utah are now under scrutiny for possible ties to the shooting, one of which deleted its online presence immediately after the attack.

The story is far from over—stay tuned and don’t stop praying.

Curated by Mike Luso

President Trump sat down with Fox & Friends this past Friday in what turned out to be one of his most emotional interviews yet, sharing the news that authorities had captured Charlie Kirk's killer while opening up about the profound bond he'd formed with the Turning Point USA founder. The president didn't hold back his feelings, describing Charlie as being "like a son" to him, a testament to how deeply the young conservative leader had touched the Trump family over the years. As Trump discussed the case, he made clear his belief that true justice would mean the death penalty for this heinous act.

But even as the nation processes this tragic loss, Trump finds himself navigating an increasingly complex global landscape. From the escalating situation with Venezuela to his growing impatience with Putin over Ukraine negotiations, the president is facing diplomatic challenges on multiple fronts. It's been a heavy week for America, one that has reminded us all how quickly tragedy can strike and how much strong leadership matters in these uncertain times.

Check out all the latest developments and more below!

🏛️ Trump Claims FBI Deployment Reduced Memphis Crime
President Trump stated that the "only reason crime is somewhat down" in Memphis, Tennessee, is because he sent FBI and other federal officers to address "absolutely terrible crime numbers" over the past five months. Trump revealed Memphis is the next city he is eyeing for potential National Guard deployment, noting the city had the highest violent crime rate and third-highest murder rate in the U.S. during 2024, with nearly 150 homicides reported so far this year. Republican Tennessee Governor Bill Lee expressed gratitude for Trump's support and commitment to providing resources to serve Memphians, while Senator Marsha Blackburn praised Trump's "tremendous success" in reducing violent crime in Washington, D.C. However, Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris criticized the announcement as "disappointing, anti-democratic and violates American norms and possibly U.S. laws," warning it could cause confusion and fear in vulnerable communities. Trump also claimed to have deployed similar federal resources to Chicago and Los Angeles, writing on Truth Social that "the real work by us has barely begun" and declaring "ONLY I CAN SAVE THEM!!!"

⚔️ Trump Running Out of Patience With Putin
President Trump revealed he is "sort of" running out of patience with Russian President Vladimir Putin "fast" after the Kremlin announced negotiations with Ukraine were "on pause." Trump expressed frustration that ending the Russia-Ukraine war, which he initially thought would be the "easiest" international conflict to resolve, has proven more challenging because "it does take two to tango." The president noted the timing issues between the leaders, explaining that when Putin wants to negotiate, Ukrainian President Zelensky doesn't, and when Zelensky wants to meet, Putin becomes "the question mark." Trump warned he would "come down very, very strong" on Russia with sanctions targeting banks, oil, and tariffs, pointing to the 50% tariffs he imposed on India and threatened against China, both major importers of Russian oil. The Kremlin's pause announcement came less than a month after Trump met with Putin in what was described as a productive meeting, and amid rising tensions following Russian drones entering Polish airspace earlier in the week.

👑 King Charles Planning Royal Spectacle for Trump Visit
King Charles III is preparing an elaborate state visit for President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump from September 17-19 at Windsor Castle, making Trump the first U.S. president to receive two state visits from British monarchs. The visit will feature full royal pomp and pageantry, including a carriage procession through the Windsor estate with Prince William and Kate Middleton, a royal salute fired from Windsor Castle and the Tower of London, and a flypast by U.K. and U.S. F-35 military jets. The centerpiece will be a glamorous state banquet for around 150 guests on Wednesday evening, with celebrities like Elton John expected to attend, following the tradition of star-studded guest lists from previous state visits. Trump will visit St. George's Chapel to lay a wreath on Queen Elizabeth II's tomb, meet with the Prime Minister to view Winston Churchill archives, and hold a news conference, while Melania will join Kate at Frogmore Gardens for Scout Association activities. Royal expert Ingrid Seward noted that the royal family is particularly looking forward to this visit because Trump is "extremely flattering of the royal family" and the late Queen Elizabeth II "was very amused by Trump, and she liked him."

📋 Trump Wins Appeal to Remove Migrant Protections
A federal appeals court ruled that President Trump can end the protected status bestowed by Biden on about 430,000 migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela, overruling a Biden-appointed judge in Washington, D.C., who had blocked the move in August. The three-judge panel determined that while there were "risks of irreparable harm" to migrants who might be separated from families, this was not sufficient to block the administration's policy change without a strong showing of likelihood of success on the merits. Judge Jia Cobb had originally claimed the administration's March decision to eliminate protections was illegal and offered migrants no due process, but the appeals court disagreed with her assessment. The Supreme Court had previously ruled in May that the administration had a legal right to end the program and allowed Trump officials to begin shutting it down even while appeals were ongoing, with only Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson and Sonia Sotomayor dissenting. The Trump administration had argued that lower courts have no authority to undermine "critical immigration policies that are carefully calibrated to deter illegal entry" and undo "democratically approved policies that featured heavily in the November election."

🔔 Trump Gives Heartfelt Tribute to Charlie Kirk 🔔

President Trump revealed that slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk was like a "son" to him during an emotional interview on "Fox & Friends," describing the profound impact the 31-year-old Turning Point USA founder had on both him and the broader conservative movement. Trump quoted his son Donald Trump Jr.'s description of his relationship with Kirk, saying "He's sort of like a son to you," as he reflected on the personal loss following Kirk's assassination at Utah Valley University.

Kirk was shot and killed while speaking from what was dubbed a "Prove Me Wrong Table" during the opening event of Turning Point's American Comeback Tour, with hundreds of audience members, many of them college students, witnessing the tragic assassination. Trump suggested during his interview that investigators may have a suspect in custody, stating "I think with a high degree of certainty, we have him" and adding that "essentially, someone who knew him turned him in." Authorities later confirmed that 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was in custody for the killing, with his own father having turned him in after recognizing his son in surveillance videos released by the FBI.

The president emphasized Kirk's remarkable ability to connect with young people across the country, saying he had "never seen young people or any group go to one person like they did to Charlie." Trump noted that Kirk would travel to universities in Arizona, Utah, and elsewhere, drawing "bigger rallies than any radical left speaker," which was "killing them." He described Kirk not merely as talented but as someone who "just really believed it" and "loved young people" while wanting to help them.

Trump spoke with Kirk's wife Erika following the shooting, describing her as "devastated" by the loss of her husband. Despite the grief, Trump noted that Kirk's organization plans to continue operating in his memory, with those close to him determined to "keep Turning Point going." The president reflected on Kirk's lasting influence, suggesting that "in many ways, he's bigger now because of what happened."

The FBI is investigating leftist groups in Utah to determine if they had any connection to the alleged shooter, according to a source familiar with the investigation. Authorities are examining whether these groups knew about Robinson's alleged plans beforehand or provided any assistance to him, though the source did not elaborate on which specific groups are being investigated. Governor Spencer Cox reported that Robinson is not cooperating with authorities and has not confessed, though "all the people around him are cooperating."

Robinson's transgender roommate, described by a relative as someone who "hates conservatives and Christians," was in a romantic relationship with the suspected assassin and has been "extremely cooperative" with FBI officials. The relative told Fox News Digital that the roommate had no idea about Robinson's alleged plans and suggested that this individual may have influenced Robinson's political radicalization over the past year. The roommate, who is transitioning from male to female, shared an apartment with Robinson in St. George, Utah, where both of their families reside.

Hundreds gathered in Robinson's Utah hometown for a vigil to honor Kirk's memory and acknowledge the pain felt by both Kirk's family and Robinson's relatives. Organizer Jordan Hess told the crowd they had gathered "not as Democrats or Republicans, not as left or right" but as Americans mourning the loss of life and the threat to democratic dialogue. Attendees described Kirk as someone who advocated for "faith, family and freedom" while treating people with respect and encouraging open conversation.

Community members at the vigil expressed concern about the state of political discourse, with one attendee noting that "political assassination is not just the taking of life, it is the attempted murder of dialogue." Several speakers called for unity and emphasized the need to disagree passionately without destroying one another, viewing the tragedy as an attack on free speech itself. The vigil brought together people from across the political spectrum who, regardless of their agreement with Kirk's beliefs, recognized his right to express his views and engage in democratic debate.

Trump praised Kirk's conservative message, particularly his emphasis on traditional family values, noting that Kirk talked about family and encouraged people to "get married," describing these values as "old-fashioned" but correct. The president lamented that Kirk's voice had been "stopped," describing him as fundamentally "good" and someone who promoted marriage and family as core American values. Kirk's friend Andrew Kolvet, executive producer of "The Charlie Kirk Show," urged mourners to remember Kirk for "his great faith" and encouraged supporters to "go back to church, open your Bible, pray, ask God to lead you."

Vigils for Kirk have emerged across the country and internationally, including at Turning Point USA campus chapters, on Capitol Hill, and even in London, where demonstrators carried pictures and banners honoring the slain activist. Turning Point USA announced plans for a massive public memorial service at the Arizona Cardinals' stadium, a venue capable of hosting over 70,000 people. Kolvet emphasized that the worldwide response reflects the authenticity of Kirk's message, describing him as someone who spoke "out of a place of integrity and honesty and decency."

The investigation continues as authorities maintain Robinson under "special watch" pending completion of a mental health evaluation, with the Utah County Sheriff's Department keeping a "close eye" on him throughout his stay in custody.

🍟 Quick Bite News 🍟

⚖️ President Trump called the machete murder of a motel manager in Dallas a "terrible" crime caused by immigration enforcement failures, identifying 37-year-old Cuban national Yordanis Cobos-Martinez as an "illegal alien from Cuba who should have never been in our country." Cobos-Martinez allegedly attacked the victim with a machete at a downtown motel, beheading him in front of his wife and son following a dispute over a broken washing machine. Trump blamed former President Joe Biden for the release of Cobos-Martinez, who had prior arrests for child sex abuse, grand theft auto, and false imprisonment, stating "the time for being soft on these illegal immigrant criminals is OVER."

⚖️ A federal appeals court blocked a lower court order mandating taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood, allowing a congressionally approved measure stripping the organization of Medicaid dollars to proceed while litigation continues. The three-judge panel stayed two preliminary injunctions issued by a U.S. District Judge, which had blocked the defunding provision from the Republicans' "Big Beautiful Bill" that passed this summer. Planned Parenthood had argued the measure was unconstitutional and claimed nearly 200 of its clinics were "at risk of closure," while pro-life advocates praised the court for shutting down what they called "Big Abortion's desperate money grab."

⚖️ White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized The Washington Post for its coverage of the stabbing murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska by career criminal Decarlos Dejuan Brown Jr., contrasting the paper's portrayal with the killer's mother's admission that her son should have been jailed. Leavitt said that while both the White House and the murderer's mother agreed Brown should have been locked up, The Washington Post cited "experts" calling the detention of violent criminals "draconian," prompting her to accuse the media of defending career criminals instead of innocent victims. Brown had 14 arrests over the past decade and was released on cashless bail despite mental health concerns and previous convictions.

🌍 President Trump responded "we'll see what happens" when asked about the possibility of striking Venezuela amid escalating tensions, stating that Venezuela is "sending us their gang members, their drug dealers and drugs" which he called "not acceptable." Trump noted that boat traffic off Venezuela's coast has decreased significantly since his administration bolstered the U.S. Navy's presence in the region and conducted a military strike that destroyed a Venezuelan drug boat carrying suspected Tren de Aragua narco-terrorists. When questioned about potential escalation from Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, Trump dismissed concerns about legality by pointing to the "300 million people died last year from drugs."

📺 Comedia Bill Maher called for people to stop comparing President Trump to Adolf Hitler following the assassination of Charlie Kirk, warning that such comparisons make it easier to "justify" assassinations. Maher referenced Trump's recent visit to a Washington D.C. restaurant where protesters chanted "You're the Hitler of our time," stating "first of all, he's not Hitler, an insult to everybody in the Holocaust to begin with" and "calling somebody Hitler makes it a lot easier to justify things like assassinations."

God bless,
