🇺🇸 Trump Denounces NYC Voters who Elected Mamdani
Happy Wednesday, Patriots!
President Donald J. Trump didn’t mince words Wednesday morning after a disappointing Election Night for Republicans — saying bluntly, “I don’t think it was good for Republicans.”
Speaking over breakfast with GOP lawmakers at the White House, Trump pointed to two possible reasons for the party’s poor showing: the ongoing government shutdown and the fact that “I wasn’t on the ballot.”
“The shutdown was a big factor, negative for Republicans,” Trump said, adding that pollsters also cited his absence from the ticket as a major reason for lower turnout.
Democrats scored wins across several states Tuesday as voters cited economic worries and gridlock in Washington.
Now, with the shutdown stretching into day 36, Trump is urging Congress to “get the government open,” and once again calling on Republicans to end the Senate filibuster to make it happen.

Voters across the nation delivered a stark message to Republicans as socialist Zohran Mamdani won the New York City mayoral race despite President Trump throwing his support behind former governor Andrew Cuomo in a last-ditch effort to stop the far-left candidate. Democrats celebrated victories in New Jersey and Virginia as well, with the results signaling potential problems for the GOP heading into next year's midterm elections.
Meanwhile, the fate of the nation hangs in the balance as the Supreme Court prepares to hear arguments on the constitutionality of Trump's tariffs in what the President called a "life or death" case for America. The accountability of those who attempted to undermine Trump's first presidency is also moving forward, with the Justice Department defending charges against former FBI Director James Comey while Attorney General Pam Bondi reveals shocking details about Jack Smith's unprecedented seizure of the President's phone records during the so-called Arctic Frost investigation.
Check out all the latest developments and more below!
🚨 Trump Warns Tariff Case Is 'Life or Death' for America
President Trump warned that the fate of the United States hangs in the balance ahead of Wednesday's hearing in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on his use of tariffs in a test of his presidential powers, writing on Truth Social that the upcoming case is "literally, LIFE OR DEATH for our country." The high court will consider whether Trump has the authority to impose tariffs on America's trading partners, with the Trump administration arguing in legal briefs that the justices should back the president's tariffs and overturn rulings by two lower courts that struck them down. Trump defended his use of tariffs as critical to national security, writing that "with a Victory, we have tremendous, but fair, Financial and National Security," but "without it, we are virtually defenseless against other Countries who have, for years, taken advantage of us." The President argued that the outcome will determine whether presidents can use tariffs freely as a tool for both economic leverage and national security, adding that "our Stock Market is consistently hitting Record Highs, and our Country has never been more respected than it is right now."
🏛 Trump Says Only Democrats Can Resume SNAP
President Trump wrote on Truth Social that the nation's largest food aid program will only resume in full when "Radical Left Democrats" open the government, saying that the benefits were given out too freely under former President Joe Biden and sent costs skyrocketing. Trump posted that SNAP benefits "increased by Billions and Billions of Dollars (MANY FOLD!) during Crooked Joe Biden's disastrous term in office" because they were "haphazardly 'handed' to anyone for the asking, as opposed to just those in need," adding that benefits "will be given only when the Radical Left Democrats open up government, which they can easily do, and not before!" The Trump administration told a federal judge it will partially resume SNAP benefits for the month of November despite the ongoing government shutdown, allocating $4.65 billion of its $5 billion contingency fund to keep the program funded. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries signaled that the expiration of funding may not be enough to persuade Democrats to end the government shutdown, saying "no" when asked if Democrats voting for the GOP federal funding bill would be the most prudent way to fix the situation.
⚖️ DOJ Defends Trump as Comey Seeks Case Dismissal
The Department of Justice urged a federal court to reject former FBI Director James Comey's bid to dismiss his case, arguing that his claims of selective prosecution are unfounded and denying that President Trump's September Truth Social post calling on Attorney General Pam Bondi to prosecute prominent political adversaries had any influence on the decision to bring charges. Prosecutors argued in their 48-page filing that Trump's posts "reflect the President's view that the defendant has committed crimes that should be met with prosecution" but "are not direct evidence of a vindictive motive," adding that "the only direct admission from the President is that DOJ officials decided whether to prosecute, not him." Comey was indicted by a federal grand jury in late September on charges of making false statements and obstructing a congressional proceeding and pleaded not guilty, with his legal team filing a motion to dismiss the indictment on grounds of vindictive and selective prosecution. The Justice Department maintains that Lindsey Halligan's appointment as interim U.S. attorney was lawful, arguing that it was in line with federal statute and the Constitution's Appointments Clause, after Comey's team argued she was unlawfully appointed following the resignation of the former U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia.
🔥 Bondi Reveals Jack Smith Seized Trump's Phone
Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed that Biden-era Special Counsel Jack Smith subpoenaed President Trump's personal phone records as well as his government-issued phone as part of the investigation into January 6, calling it "an UNPRECEDENTED action." Bondi wrote that during the Arctic Frost Investigation, "we found that Special Counsel seized President Trump's government-issued phone," meaning "the Biden Administration turned over President Trump's phone to Special Counsel," and that "Special Counsel subpoenaed all of President Trump's PERSONAL phone records." Bondi's revelation is the latest exposure of the investigation into the protests, with Smith having issued 197 subpoenas to 34 individuals and 163 entities, which included banks and political groups. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley found that eight senators and one House lawmaker were subpoenaed as part of Arctic Frost, with lawmakers having moved to impeach Judge James Boasberg, who authorized surveillance orders of lawmakers as part of the investigation.

🔔 Trump Denounces Voters who Elected Mamdani 🔔
Socialist Zohran Mamdani has won the New York City mayoral race, marking what analysts are calling a hostile takeover of the Democrat Party nationally and making him the highest-profile Democrat in America despite President Trump's last-minute push to stop him. Trump asserted on Election Day that any Jewish person who votes for Mamdani, whom he called "a proven and self professed JEW HATER," is "a stupid person," urging voters instead to back former Gov. Andrew Cuomo in the contest. The Associated Press called the race for Mamdani after he built a commanding lead of more than 100,000 votes over Cuomo, finishing with 50 percent to Cuomo's 41.4 percent, while Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa performed poorly in polling throughout the campaign.
Trump had backed Cuomo in a stunning political realignment, writing on Truth Social that "a vote for Curtis Sliwa (who looks much better without the beret!) is a vote for Mamdani" and telling New Yorkers "whether you personally like Andrew Cuomo or not, you really have no choice." The President warned that if Mamdani won, "it is highly unlikely that I will be contributing Federal Funds, other than the very minimum as required, to my beloved first home," arguing that "as a Communist, this once great City has ZERO chance of success, or even survival."
An antisemitism watchdog group issued a scathing report on Mamdani ahead of Election Day, with the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy warning that Mamdani "has repeatedly declined to condemn the slogan 'globalize the intifada,' ignoring the fact that the word 'intifada' is synonymous with terror attacks, suicide bombings, and incitement to kill Jews."
The White House also slammed Mamdani after he linked the Trump administration to bomb threats against voters in New Jersey, with Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt calling his remarks "completely irresponsible" and based on "zero evidence." Mamdani had claimed the threats were "an illustration of the attacks we're seeing on our democracy" and "part of the general approach the Trump administration has taken to trying to intimidate voters with baseless allegations of voter fraud," though the threats were found to be non-credible.
House Majority Whip Tom Emmer told Breitbart News exclusively that "Commie Mamdani's win in New York City marks the death of the Democrat party as we once knew it," warning that "his communist agenda will run America's largest city straight into the ground, while Democrats in Congress sit idly by because they either agree or are too terrified of their virulent base to speak up."
Jason Geevarghese, the executive director of the Sanders-founded group Our Revolution, issued a statement directly calling out Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, saying "Chuck Schumer and the Democratic establishment are losing relevance" and that "Mamdani's victory is a bellwether" for progressives poised to defeat the establishment of both parties in 2026.
The victory came on a night when Democrats also won gubernatorial races in New Jersey and Virginia, with Democrat Mikie Sherrill defeating Republican Jack Ciattarelli and Democrat Abigail Spanberger handily beating Republican Winsome Earle-Sears, who Trump allies noted had viciously attacked Trump right after the midterm elections in 2022 and never really repaired her relationship with him.
Mamdani's victory represents a seismic shift in American politics, with the radical left now controlling the nation's largest city and Democrats facing an internal civil war as progressives position themselves to challenge the establishment ahead of the midterms.

🍟 Quick Bite News 🍟
💬 Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claimed President Trump blocked Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from running for Georgia's Senate seat next year, a move she says prompted Greene's ongoing "revenge tour" against the GOP. Ocasio-Cortez said during an Instagram livestream that Greene "wanted to run for Senate earlier this year in the state of Georgia" and "was gearing up for that statewide race, and Trump told her no," adding that "the White House and Trump Land shut down Marjorie Taylor Greene's personal ambitions to run for Senate - and she has been on a revenge tour ever since." Greene said in May she would not seek Georgia's Senate seat, opting against a challenge to Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff, and has stepped up criticism of GOP leadership in recent weeks, taking aim at the party's approach to health care and the ongoing government shutdown.
🗳 California voters passed a ballot initiative that will dramatically alter the state's congressional districts in a victory for Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrats, putting the left-leaning state front and center in the high-stakes political fight over redistricting. Voters approved Proposition 50, which will temporarily sidetrack California's nonpartisan redistricting commission and return the power to draw congressional maps to the Democrat-dominated legislature in an effort that could create five more Democratic-leaning congressional districts. Newsom, who spearheaded the push to pass the proposition, said "Donald Trump poked the bear. And the bear roared back," while Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chair Rep. Suzan DelBene argued that "California voters have sent a strong and clear message that they will not stand by while Republicans try to rig the 2026 election."
📺 Actress Sydney Sweeney called it "surreal" that President Trump and Vice President JD Vance publicly supported her controversial American Eagle jeans ad that sparked strong reactions across the political spectrum. In a new interview to promote her latest film, Sweeney addressed becoming a cultural flashpoint over the campaign marketed with the tagline "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans," which was criticized by some progressives as promoting Whiteness and eugenics by comparing her "jeans" and "genes." Trump expressed his support for the ad on Truth Social after learning Sweeney is a registered Republican, saying "oh, now I love her ad," while Vance joked on the "Ruthless" podcast that his "political advice to the Democrats is: continue to tell everybody who thinks Sydney Sweeney is attractive is a Nazi."
💬 Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi sparked controversy after calling President Trump a "vile creature" and "the worst thing on the face of the earth" in an interview with CNN, prompting conservatives to accuse her of continuing to promote rhetoric that has led to political violence. When CNN's Elex Michaelson asked if she really thought Trump was the worst thing on Earth, Pelosi responded "I do, yeah, I do," and explained that "he's the president of the United States and he does not honor the Constitution of the United States." Political commentator Piers Morgan posted on X that Pelosi's comment was "so absurd," asking "worse than Hamas terrorists? Iranian mullahs? Putin? Jong-Un?" while NRCC National War Room director Ben Petersen called it "more dehumanizing Democrat language about Republicans."
🌍 The BBC "materially misled" its audience by presenting a "doctored" version of President Trump's speech on January 6th, falsely implying that he encouraged people to riot at the Capitol, according to an internal memo from the publicly-funded broadcaster. In a special aired shortly before last year's presidential election, the BBC "mangled" footage of Trump's speech with deceptive edits to make it appear that he was going to go to the Capitol building to "fight like hell," when he actually told supporters "to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard." Former independent external adviser Michael Prescott found that the network "spliced together two clips from separate parts of his speech," creating "the impression that Trump said something he did not and, in doing so, materially misled viewers."
God bless,
