🇺🇸 Trump Declares Victory Day at Arlington Cemetery

Happy Tuesday, Patriots!

President Donald J. Trump is defending his support for H-1B skilled worker visas, telling Fox News’ Laura Ingraham that while he wants to protect American jobs, some industries require expertise the U.S. still lacks.

“You don’t have certain talents, and people have to learn,” Trump said on The Ingraham Angle, citing complex manufacturing and AI as examples.

The president signed an order in September raising the visa fee to $100,000 per applicant, arguing it will ensure only the “best and brightest” come to America.

“We’re leading China by a lot on AI,” Trump said. “You can’t build the greatest economy in the world without top talent — and sometimes that means bringing it in.”

President Trump honored America's veterans with a powerful Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and declaring the holiday a celebration of "Victory Day" for America's triumphs in World Wars I and II. Trump called on the nation to reject political correctness and recommit to the winning spirit that has defined American military strength for 250 years.

The powerful address came just as the Senate finally passed a funding bill to end the disastrous 40-day shutdown that Democrats triggered - a shutdown that accomplished absolutely nothing for their party except exposing deep divisions within their own ranks. Instead of Democrats receiving a guarantee on an extension for thier Obamacare subsidies like they demanded, they now will return without a single accomplishment in their embarassing protest.

⚖️ Trump Asks SCOTUS to Overturn E. Jean Carroll Verdict
President Trump asked the Supreme Court to overturn a jury's civil lawsuit verdict that he sexually abused and later defamed former Elle columnist E. Jean Carroll. Trump's lawyers argued the $5 million verdict was "propped up" by "indefensible evidentiary rulings" that allowed "highly inflammatory propensity evidence" against him. Trump's legal team stated the president "has clearly and consistently denied that this supposed incident ever occurred," noting there was no physical or DNA evidence, no eyewitnesses, no video evidence, and no police report or investigation to corroborate Carroll's story. Trump's lawyers accused trial judge Lewis A. Kaplan of warping federal evidence rules to bolster Carroll's "implausible, unsubstantiated assertions" and claimed the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals created conflict with other federal appeals courts by upholding the verdict. A spokesperson for Trump's legal team stated the Supreme Court appeal was part of the president's crusade against "Liberal Lawfare," adding that "the American People stand with President Trump as they demand an immediate end to all of the Witch Hunts, including the Democrat-funded travesty of the Carroll Hoaxes."

🇨🇳 Trump Defends Plan for 600k Chinese Student Visas
President Trump defended his administration's plan to offer 600,000 visas to Chinese students, arguing foreign students are vital to keeping U.S. universities financially stable. Trump stated that cutting Chinese students in half "would have half the colleges in the United States would go out of business," framing the issue in economic terms by noting Chinese students pay far more in tuition than Americans. The president argued "I view it as a business" and stated he doesn't "want to cut half of the people, half of the students from all over the world that are coming into our country, destroy our entire university and college system." Former national security advisor Michael Flynn criticized the plan on X, writing "Sorry Mr. @POTUS if we didn't allow 600K Chinese spies to steal even more intellectual property and other ideas about how to dominate are our way of life, it wouldn't make a dent in U.S. colleges and universities." The remarks marked a reversal from earlier this year when the Trump administration said it would "aggressively revoke" Chinese student visas amid espionage concerns before changing course in August to expand the program dramatically.

🏙️ Trump Claims Victory in Chicago
President Trump declared victory in Chicago after Operation Midway Blitz resulted in dramatic crime reductions despite fierce resistance from Gov. JB Pritzker and Mayor Brandon Johnson. Trump posted on Truth Social that since the immigration enforcement push began, "shootings are down 35%, Robberies are down 41%, and Carjackings are down almost 50%," noting these numbers came from "just a small initial Federal Force, not the full 'surge'" of federal resources. The president stated the results were "achieved despite the extraordinary resistance from Chicago and Illinois Radical Democrat 'Leadership,' and the constant Violent Leftwing Terrorism against ICE Officers and Federal Agents that Insurrectionist Democrat Officials refuse to stop or prosecute, including constant physical assault and attempted assassination." Operation Midway Blitz launched on September 8 and has resulted in thousands of arrests of illegal immigrants, including violent criminals and gang members, but has been met with fierce resistance including people blocking ICE vehicles, ramming federal officials, and shooting at Border Patrol agents. An illegal immigrant with a criminal history, a Mexican citizen, was arrested in connection with a shooting at federal agents in the Little Village neighborhood after he drove up near agents and fired shots before driving away.

đź’° Trump Frustrated with GOP for Not Hyping Economy
President Trump expressed frustration during an interview that Republicans aren't selling his economic achievements, calling it "the greatest economy in history." Trump said "The Republicans don't talk about it. The Democrats give false talk… And I say it all the time: Republicans have to talk about the fact that prices are down." The president stated "We are doing phenomenally well. This is the greatest economy we've ever had," positioning the United States ahead of its rivals and claiming he's secured "almost $18 trillion" in investment in nine months, calling it "the biggest in the history of the world." Trump targeted former President Joe Biden, stating "Biden couldn't raise anything, no investment" and claiming "investment went out of our country" under Biden's leadership. The president pointed to driving down egg prices after they quadrupled as one of his first economic achievements, stating "They were hitting me with eggs" when he took office but "We got eggs down. We got it all down."

President Trump commemorated Veterans Day at Arlington National Cemetery with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, declaring the holiday would also be recognized as "Victory Day" honoring American triumphs in World Wars I and II. Trump was joined by Vice President JD Vance and Veterans Affairs Secretary Doug Collins at the Memorial Amphitheater, where he told attendees America owes everything to those who served.

The president stated veterans have "earned the respect and the gratitude of our entire nation," thanking them "for carrying America's fate on your strong, very broad, proud shoulders." Trump declared his administration is "restoring the pride and the winning spirit of the United States military," rejecting political correctness and announcing that "from now on when we fight a war, we only fight for one reason: to win."

The president issued a Victory Day message for World War I stating that "the immortal causes of liberty, sovereignty, and human dignity were secured in glory at the conclusion of World War I - one of the most extraordinary displays of U.S. military might in the history of our country." Vance, a Marine veteran, encouraged attendees to thank veterans for their service and sacrifice, stating "every single person who put on the uniform of this nation deserves our gratitude on this day, especially, but every day." Veterans Affairs Secretary Collins praised the department's progress under Trump's direction, stating the VA has reduced backlogs, improved access to care, and expanded options for veterans seeking treatment in their communities.

Collins emphasized that "the VA now understands that we do nothing else except take care of the veteran and do things for them," committing to ensure veterans have everything they need because they have "earned everything that they are getting." The Department of Homeland Security honored the more than 7,500 veterans now serving as ICE agents, with Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin stating they are "eternally grateful to all Americans who have bravely served" and that "we are only the land of the free because of the brave."

Veterans-turned-ICE agents conducted operations on Veterans Day eve targeting sex offenders and child predators across multiple states, arresting dangerous criminals in Pennsylvania, New York, Utah, and Texas. ICE's Philadelphia office arrested Colombian national Albert Quinones-Quinones in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, who has a prior sexual assault conviction and longer criminal history.

Agents in Buffalo arrested Delbes De Jesus Hernandez-Vargas from the Dominican Republic with a prior rape conviction in Bronx County, and also arrested Luis Castillo-Flores, another Dominican national with a violent criminal record. In Utah, ICE took Guatemalan national Juan Guerra-Ubaldo into custody after he was previously arrested for sexually abusing a minor in Washington County. The ceremony included House Speaker Mike Johnson, Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Education Secretary Linda McMahon, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and other senior administration officials.

🍟 Quick Bite News 🍟

🏛 The Department of Justice launched an investigation into the University of California, Berkeley after Antifa "mob violence" occurred outside a Turning Point USA event. Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon directed UC Berkeley Police Chief Yogananda Pittman to "preserve all records" related to the agency's preparation, execution, and response to the event and related protests. Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a statement warning that Antifa is an "existential threat" to the nation and that the DOJ would "spare no expense unmasking all who commit and orchestrate acts of political violence."

🇺🇸 President Trump issued a "Complete and Total" endorsement of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott for reelection, calling him "an exceptional Governor and man" who "WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN." Trump credited Abbott's leadership for the successful passage of Texas's mid-decade redistricting bill that will potentially give Republicans five additional congressional seats in the 2026 Midterm Elections. Abbott launched his reelection campaign at an event in Houston and is seeking a fourth term, having won each of his three previous elections by decisive margins.

⚖️ The Supreme Court extended its temporary stay of a lower court order requiring the Trump administration to immediately pay full SNAP benefits for November, delivering a near-term win to the administration. The new action keeps the stay in place through 11:59 p.m. Thursday, with Trump officials arguing that lower court judges overstepped their powers and that "the only way to end this crisis — which the Executive is adamant to end — is for Congress to reopen the government." States accused the Trump administration of playing politics with food aid that provides benefits to roughly one in eight Americans.

🛢️ Russia's attempt to weaponize European energy dependence by choking off gas deliveries in 2022 backfired spectacularly, with its share of European Union gas imports falling from 45% in 2021 to under 10% today. U.S. gas now accounts for nearly 57% of Europe's total imports compared to roughly one-third before the war, exactly as Trump warned years ago when he told European leaders their dependence on Russian gas would leave them "hostage to Moscow." The shift has not only blunted Vladimir Putin's most powerful geopolitical weapon but also fueled an American export boom that is binding Europe more tightly to Washington than at any point since the Cold War.

đź’° President Trump announced he will lower some tariffs to reduce coffee prices, responding to concerns about elevated costs during an interview with Laura Ingraham. Trump stated "Coffee, we're going to lower some tariffs. We're going to have some coffee come in. We're going to take care of all this stuff very quickly, very easily. It's surgical, it's beautiful to watch." The president acknowledged coffee and beef prices remain elevated but emphasized that "our costs are way lower" overall under his administration.

God bless,
