I think it’s safe to say that Donald J. Trump has had the most productive first 72 hours in Presidential history.

As if his first 48 hours weren’t already packed, his 3rd day in office was just as busy. (Scroll to the end of the email to see Trump’s $3 Trillion announcement)

For starters, though, here are 3 stories that are on the top of my mind…

  3. BIDEN’S LETTER TO TRUMP: According to Fox News, here is what was said in Joe Biden’s farewell letter to Trump:

  • ENDING THE UKRAINE-RUSSIA WAR: Trump shared new details on his plans to end the War in Ukraine within 100 days, an ambitious goal he set on the campaign trail. While congressionally-approved aid to Ukraine will continue for the time-being, the president has called on European countries to shoulder more of the financial burden, noting that the U.S. has contributed $200 billion more to the war effort. Trump has also tasked retired General Keith Kellogg – a staunch ally who served in the first Trump Administration – with overseeing negotiations.

  • GETTING TOUGH ON RUSSIA: As part of the effort to force a peace agreement in Ukraine, Trump threatened to impose tariffs and other financial pressures on Russia if they do not come to the negotiating table. In a lengthy Truth Social post, the president stated that he has a ā€œgoodā€ relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, though he did stress that Russia’s economy is ā€œfailing,ā€ adding that their troubles will ā€œonly get worseā€ unless a deal is made.

  • STRONG NATO MESSAGING: While speaking at a White House press conference on Tuesday evening, Trump called on NATO nations to increase defense spending. Under a 2014 agreement, NATO members were required to commit two percent of their respective GDP to defense spending. Only five countries were fulfilling the obligation when Trump took office in 2017, and while the number has gone up to 23 out of 32 since the War in Ukraine began, Trump is now calling on NATO members to commit five percent of their GDP to defense spending.

  • FOREIGN ENEMIES CALLED OUT: Elsewhere on the foreign policy front, Trump moved to designate the Yemen-based Houthi group as a terrorist organization. The rebel militant group – which controls vast amounts of Yemeni territory and the nation's capital of Sanaa –- has increased attacks on U.S shipping and U.S. allies since the start of Israel’s War in Gaza. The FTO designation will give the federal government expanded power in targeting the rebel group, prosecuting its members and affiliates, and barring individuals affiliated with the Iran-backed group from entering the United States.

  • MORE BORDER MOVES: New details emerged on the Trump Administration’s plans for dealing with the border crisis, which has officially been designated as a national emergency. A national emergency declaration will allow the federal government to divert funds from other projects in order to bolster border security, which includes the completion of a border wall. A national emergency declaration can be extended as long as the president desires, so long as he has a veto-proof majority in Congress.

  • ā€œYOU’RE FIREDā€: President Trump has continued to clean house in the federal government by firing a number of prominent Biden holdovers. Heads of the Bureau of Prisons, the Coast Guard and the TSA were among those fired on Wednesday, while firings are expected to continue across all federal agencies and departments. Trump has also initiated a hiring freeze on federal employees and has updated hiring requirements.

  • BYE BYE, DEI: The Trump Administration instructed current and acting heads of federal agencies and departments to shutter all government diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) offices by the end of the day on Wednesday. Employees working within those offices were placed on paid leave and will likely be terminated. In addition, Trump has rescinded a number of DEI-themed and executive orders put in place by his predecessors, most of which were implemented by the Biden Administration. In one example, Trump rescinded an executive order made by President Lyndon B. Johnson that established affirmative action in the federal government.

  • DOGE CLOCK UNVEILED: The Elon-Musk led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has unveiled a ā€œdebt clockā€ that will be counting up until the nation’s sizable debt has been paid off. The unofficial committee will make recommendations on how to cut government waste and redundant bureaucracy throughout Trump’s second term, all of which will be made publicly available before anything is suggested to lawmakers for action.

āœ‹šŸ»Liberal Media Fact-Check Of The Day - Another Pete Hegseth Hoax šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

The media is now running with a story as ā€˜truth’ even though it has been thoroughly denied.

Pete Hegseth has been accused of making his second wife "fear for her safety" in new affidavit. However, the allegations were immediately shot down by his second wife.

The fact that they are fighting this confirmation so hard tells you everything you need to know.

In a desperate attempt to halt his confirmation, Senators received an affidavit where Hegseth's former sister-in-law claimed his behavior caused ex-wife Samantha Hegseth to "fear for her safety."

The allegations were immediately shot down by Samantha herself, who said the information was not accurate.

"First and foremost, I have not and will not comment on my marriage to Pete Hegseth. I do not have representatives speaking on my behalf, nor have I ever asked anyone to share or speak about the details of my marriage on my behalf, whether it be a reporter, a committee member, a transition team member, etc."

"I do not believe your information to be accurate, and I have cc’d my lawyer."

"There was no physical abuse in my marriage. This is the only further statement I will make to you, I have let you know that I am not speaking and will not speak on my marriage to Pete. Please respect this decision."
