🇺🇸 Trump Becomes the President of Peace
Happy Tuesday, Patriots,
Today, President Donald Trump will award the Presidential Medal of Freedom to Charlie Kirk, honoring the late Turning Point USA founder for his lifelong defense of faith, family, and freedom.
The ceremony — held on what would have been Kirk’s 32nd birthday — comes just weeks after his tragic assassination at a campus event in Utah.
Trump called Kirk “a giant of his generation, a champion of liberty, and an inspiration to millions.” Friends and pastors praised him as a man who “devoted his entire being to saving America.”
Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, now leads TPUSA and will accept the award on his behalf at the White House this afternoon.

âś…TRACKING TRUMPâś…
Curated by Mike Luso
President Trump returns from his historic Middle East peace deal to a global chorus of praise, even from his biggest detractors. Trump declared the Gaza ceasefire the beginning of a "golden age" for the region, saying he "achieved the impossible." Joe Biden, feeling left out of the conversation, made a feeble attempt to claim credit for the groundwork.
Meanwhile, battles for American cities rage on as more protests erupt nationwide, including a naked bike ride in Portland targeting an ICE facility here at home. And internationally, Russia has responded with bold threats after Trump floated the possibility of sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. It seems as one major conflict ends, several others are brewing around the world, giving the president more opportunities to let his diplomatic skills shine.
Check out all the latest developments and more below!
🔥 Russia Threatens Trump Over Tomahawks
President Trump raised the prospect of supplying Ukraine with Tomahawk missiles if Russia refuses to settle the war, describing them as a "very offensive weapon" while noting "honestly, Russia does not need that." Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump said he might tell Putin directly: "if this war is not going to get settled I'm going to send them Tomahawks." Former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev warned that such a move "could end badly for everyone … most of all, for Trump himself," according to a translation of his Telegram post. Medvedev claimed it's impossible to distinguish a nuclear Tomahawk from a conventional one in flight. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy indicated that Tomahawks would be used for "only military goals," asserting that Ukraine never attacks Russian civilians.
đź’¬ Trump Earns Time Magazine Cover
Time magazine dedicated its next cover to President Trump's "triumph" in the Middle East, marking a stark contrast to numerous unflattering covers the magazine has done of him over the years. The cover features Trump confidently looking onward with the title "His Triumph," accompanied by an article discussing how his creed that the "art of the deal" could "solve anything" has now been tested on the world stage. Time wrote that the deal "may become a signature achievement of Trump's second term, and it could mark a strategic turning point for the Middle East." The article credited Trump's use of envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner in negotiations, noting that "if the peace holds, the region could enter a new era defined less by conflict than by the possibility of transformation."
âš– Biden and Blinken Claim Credit for Trump Deal
Former President Joe Biden and former Secretary of State Antony Blinken both attempted to claim credit for President Trump's Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement. Biden, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, wrote on X that his administration "worked relentlessly" on the deal but gave Trump credit for getting "a renewed ceasefire deal over the finish line." Blinken claimed Trump's 20-point peace plan was "based on one developed by the Biden administration" after months of discussions with Arab partners. When asked about Blinken's remarks aboard Air Force One, Trump dismissed them as "a joke," saying "they did such a bad job, this should have never happened." Trump added that the war and Russia-Ukraine conflict resulted from "bad policy by Biden and Obama."
đź—ł Obama Calls Trump 'Un-American'
Former President Barack Obama stated that President Trump's deployment of National Guard troops to Democrat-run cities is "inherently corrupting" and un-American. Speaking on a left-wing podcast, Obama claimed Trump's deployment to cities including Washington DC, Los Angeles, Memphis, and Chicago violates the Posse Comitatus Act, which restricts use of military on domestic soil. Obama argued that if he had sent National Guard troops to Dallas against Texas Governor Abbott's wishes, "Fox News would have responded" differently. He told the podcast that Trump's law enforcement tactics are un-American, saying "we don't want masked folks with rifles and machine guns patrolling our streets." Obama claimed Trump's administration is suggesting "that ordinary street crime is an insurrection or a terrorist act" in what he called "a genuine effort to weaken how we have understood democracy."

President Trump stood before world leaders in Egypt and declared that after years of being told peace in the Middle East was impossible, "now we're there." Hours earlier, all 20 living Israeli hostages had been released from Hamas captivity after more than two years, reuniting tearfully with their families in scenes that moved viewers worldwide. Trump traveled to Jerusalem to address the Israeli Knesset, where he received a standing ovation and was hailed as "the greatest friend Israel ever had in the White House."
The president proclaimed this moment as more than just the end of a war, calling it "the end of an age of terror and death, the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God." Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana vowed to submit Trump's candidacy for the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize, comparing him to Cyrus the Great who freed the Jewish people from Babylon. Prime Minister Netanyahu told the chamber that "no American president has ever done more for Israel than this one, and it ain't even close," while nominating Trump for the Israel Prize, the nation's highest honor.
Trump then flew to Sharm el-Sheikh, where he signed the historic peace agreement flanked by dozens of world leaders, including the presidents of Egypt, Turkey, and the Emir of Qatar. Pakistan's Prime Minister called Trump "genuinely a man of peace" who worked "relentlessly" to end the bloodshed, announcing his nation had nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize. The president thanked Secretary of State Marco Rubio for nine months of painstaking work, calling him potentially "the greatest secretary of state in the history of our country."

Trump expressed confidence that more Arab and Muslim nations would join the Abraham Accords, the normalization deals with Israel he brokered during his first term, while taking a shot at the Biden administration for doing "nothing" to advance them. When asked about committing to a two-state solution, Trump declined, saying "we'll have to see" and noting that some prefer one state while others prefer two states - any decision would be made with regional and international partners.
The deal has earned Trump rare bipartisan praise, with even critics like Hillary Clinton, Rahm Emanuel, and MSNBC commentators acknowledging the diplomatic achievement. Time magazine dedicated its cover to "His Triumph," writing that the agreement "could become a signature achievement of Trump's second term" and "mark a strategic turning point for the Middle East." Trump has now secured the release of more than 70 American hostages since taking office in January - matching what Biden released in four years -according to the State Department.
Yet challenges remain, as Israel and Hamas have not agreed on Gaza's postwar governance, reconstruction plans, or Israel's demand that Hamas disarm. Trump acknowledged the difficulties ahead during his speech in Egypt, where he called for a new era of harmony and urged leaders "to declare that our future will not be ruled by the fights of generations past." The president envisions the Middle East becoming "a safe and prosperous and beautiful crossroads of culture and commerce" and "the geographic center of the world."

🔥 Rep. Ayanna Pressley issued a Columbus Day statement declaring "we are all on stolen land" and accusing Republicans of attempting to "whitewash American history." The far-left Squad member celebrated "Indigenous Peoples Day" instead of the federally-recognized Columbus Day, writing that "while Republicans try to whitewash American history, we acknowledge our country's role in inflicting trauma on our Indigenous neighbors." President Trump signed an official proclamation to "reclaim" Columbus's "extraordinary legacy of faith, courage, perseverance, and virtue from the left-wing arsonists who have sought to destroy his name and dishonor his memory."
đź’° The Schumer shutdown has halted TRICARE medical payments for military service members and their families as the government shutdown moves through its second week. TRICARE may not be able to process or pay medical claims received since October 1 until funding is restored, according to the Defense Health Agency. Health care providers in San Antonio who rely on TRICARE to pay for services provided to military members and dependents say they are now starting to feel the pinch as doctors are not being compensated for services already rendered.
🏛 Hundreds of Portland cyclists joined anti-ICE protests in a naked bike ride through the city. Organizers called an "emergency" edition of the annual ride to protest Trump's National Guard deployment and "ongoing and escalating harm" to immigrants. The naked riders began at the Convention Center Plaza and eventually made their way to the ICE facility in south Portland, briefly stopping traffic on Burnside Bridge to stage a "die-in." Some participants showed up in costumes while others showed up in nothing at all as the city awaits a 9th Circuit Court ruling on whether the president can legally deploy the National Guard.
đź’¬ Comedian Bill Maher said he can't deny President Trump's success during his "Club Random" podcast, even while acknowledging Trump wasn't his choice. "You cannot ever deny success. Trump, not my choice, didn't vote for him, and I can't deny the success," Maher told actor William H. Macy. Maher met with Trump at the White House in April and said Trump was "gracious and measured," adding he never felt he had to "walk on eggshells" around him. The comedian has called Trump one of "the most effective politicians" due to his authenticity.
âš– President Trump joked with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at the Gaza peace summit, calling her a "beautiful, young woman" while noting it's usually "the end of your political career" in the United States if you call a woman beautiful. Trump asked Meloni if she minded "being called beautiful," praising her as "incredible" and saying "they really respect her in Italy." World leaders including Meloni, French President Macron, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney looked on as Trump signed the historic peace documents alongside Egyptian, Qatari, and Turkish leaders.
