🎉 Trump Launces Freedom 250 to Celebrate America
President Trump launched Freedom 250, a new nonpartisan organization leading the administration's celebration of America's 250th anniversary. Keith Krach, former undersecretary of state under the first Trump administration and now CEO of Freedom 250, said the year 2026 will mark a celebration unlike anything ever done and he is grateful to execute Trump's vision. The initiative brings together states, companies and organizations to plan and participate in events celebrating the nation's 250th birthday by mobilizing partners and communities in all 50 states and around the world. Freedom 250's website features videos crafted in part by Hillsdale College telling the remarkable story of American independence, along with a calendar packed with patriotic events including an ongoing freedom tour hitting all 50 states in the order they joined the union. The events will kick off with the Washington Monument illuminated from Dec. 31 through Jan. 5 marking the start of this once-in-a-generation anniversary year, with upcoming celebrations including the highly anticipated White House UFC fight that first daughter Ivanka Trump is helping facilitate.
🌎 Trump Orders Total Blockade as Maduro Erupts
Venezuela tore into Trump's order to blockade the waters near Venezuela and prevent sanctioned oil tankers from passing through, calling it warmongering threats and a grotesque effort to steal the nation's oil wealth. Trump demanded Venezuela return stolen oil assets to the U.S., writing on Truth Social that Venezuela is completely surrounded by the largest Armada ever assembled in the history of South America and he is ordering a total and complete blockade of all sanctioned oil tankers going into and out of Venezuela. Caracas formally filed a complaint with the United Nations Security Council as the U.S. took aim at oil shipments to China, Venezuela's dominant customer for crude that accounts for around 88 percent of the country's $24 billion in export revenues. The U.S. has built up its largest military presence in the Latin America region in decades with 15 percent of all naval assets now positioned in the Southern Command theater, and seized a major oil tanker known as the Skipper worth tens of millions.
🚨 FBI Deputy Director Bongino Confirms Resignation
Federal Bureau of Investigations Deputy Director Dan Bongino confirmed he is leaving the agency in January. FBI Director Kash Patel praised Bongino's service, thanking him for his dedication and sacrifice in helping lead the FBI through a critical period. Bongino replied to Patel's praise saying it was the honor of a lifetime to serve under his leadership. The departure follows Bongino's tenure helping lead the bureau during a transformative time for the agency. Trump earlier Wednesday indicated Bongino was interested in returning to his role as a conservative commentator, however, Bongino's next steps have not been announced.

President Trump participated in the dignified transfer of American soldiers and an interpreter killed in Syria during recent combat operations. The president attended the solemn ceremony to honor the fallen servicemembers who gave their lives in service to the nation, standing alongside military leadership and families of the deceased. Trump saluted as the flag-draped transfer cases were carried from the aircraft with full military honors at the air base. The dignified transfer ceremony is one of the most sacred military traditions, marking the moment when fallen warriors return home to American soil. Trump's attendance at the ceremony demonstrated his commitment to honoring those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of the country and ensuring their service would never be forgotten.

President Trump announced more than 1.45 million military service members will receive a special warrior dividend before Christmas during his prime time address to the nation. In honor of the nation's founding in 1776, every soldier is being sent $1,776, and Trump declared the checks are already on the way. Active duty service members in grades O-6 and below, and reserve component service members in grades O-6 and below on active duty orders of 31 days or more are eligible for the warrior dividends. Trump said the bonuses are possible because of tariffs along with the just passed One Big Beautiful Bill.
The president used the address to declare America is being rescued from the brink of ruin following the Biden administration. Trump blamed Biden and allies in Congress for looting the Treasury for trillions of dollars and driving up prices to unprecedented levels, but declared he is bringing those high prices down fast. The president rattled off how car prices rose by at least 22 percent under Biden, gasoline rose 30 to 50 percent, hotel rates climbed 37 percent, airfares jumped 31 percent, and mortgage prices increased $15,000 under Democrat rule. Trump announced all those costs are falling rapidly under his leadership, noting that Thanksgiving turkey prices dropped 33 percent compared to last year and egg prices plunged 82 percent since March.
Under Biden, Trump said real wages plummeted by $3,000, but under his administration the typical factory worker is seeing a wage increase of $1,300, construction workers are getting $1,800 more, and miners are earning $3,300 more. For the first time in years, wages are rising much faster than inflation. Trump also touted his massive tax and domestic policy bill signed into law in July, saying Americans will see the results of the largest tax cuts in American history that were accomplished through the great big beautiful bill.
The president unveiled his TrumpRx program delivering what he called unprecedented reductions in prescription drug prices, standing up to special interests to dramatically slash prices on drugs and pharmaceuticals by as much as 400, 500, and even 600 percent. Trump said he is doing what no politician of either party has ever done by negotiating directly with drug companies and foreign nations, using the threat of tariffs to force countries that had been taking advantage of America for decades to pay the cost of this giant dollar reduction.
The first of these price reductions will be available starting in January through a new website at TrumpRx.gov, with agreements already in place with five major pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, AstraZeneca, EMD Serono, Eli Lilly, and Novo Nordisk covering medications ranging from dermatitis treatments to insulin to weight loss drugs. Trump closed his address by declaring the nation is strong, America is respected, the country is back stronger than ever before, and the U.S. is poised for an economic boom the likes of which the world has never seen.

The Argument/Verasight survey of 1,521 registered voters found Vance was more popular among white voters at 57 percent while Ocasio-Cortez commanded 79 percent of Black voters and 64 percent of Hispanic voters. When asked by a reporter if she thought she could beat Vance as the poll suggested, Ocasio-Cortez laughed and said these polls three years out are what they are, but then declared let the record show I would stomp him.

The organization is calling on the president to maintain current drug scheduling policies rather than moving forward with plans to reschedule marijuana to a less restrictive category. The campaign argues rescheduling would send the wrong message about drug use and undermine efforts to combat substance abuse.
🏳️⚧️ The House approved an MTG-sponsored bill to criminalize gender transition treatment for minors in a major victory for Republicans pushing to protect children. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene's legislation passed the chamber and now heads to the Senate where it faces an uncertain future. The bill would make it a federal crime for medical professionals to provide puberty blockers, hormone therapy or surgical procedures to minors seeking gender transition.
