Happy Friday!

President Trump just made a bold personnel move that’s got everyone talking.

Hours after Mike Waltz was rumored to be resigning from his position as National Security Advisor, Trump nominated him to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

ā€œFrom his time in uniform, in Congress, and as my National Security Advisor, Mike Waltz has worked hard to put our Nation’s Interests first,ā€ Trump said on Truth Social.
ā€œI know he’ll do the same in his new role.ā€

šŸ“ Waltz’s exit follows weeks of speculation after the March Signal chat leak involving military discussions on the Houthis.
šŸ“ The administration maintains that no classified info was shared and continues to back Waltz’s job performance
šŸ“ Secretary of State Marco Rubio will now serve as interim National Security Advisor, holding both roles—echoing a move not seen since Henry Kissinger.

Waltz called the nomination a ā€œdeep honorā€ and pledged to keep serving the country with ā€œeverything he’s got.ā€

In true Trump fashion, he didn’t sideline Waltz, he redeployed him.

āœ…TRACKING TRUMPāœ…

Curated by Mike Luso

Hey Team! šŸ˜Ž

President Trump’s bold leadership never slows down. Whether it’s giving empowering commencement speeches or strengthening the principles of religious freedom, the President is standing up to fight for our country and its values.

With decisive judicial victories on the horizon and a sweeping ā€œAmerica Firstā€ law-and-order agenda, he’s proving that no courtroom challenge can derail his mission to restore American greatness.

Check out all the latest developments and more below!

šŸ“° Trump Cuts Funding for Media
President Trump signed an executive order ending all federal grants and tax-exempt subsidies to public broadcasters and nonprofit outlets he deems ā€œbiased,ā€ including PBS and NPR. The White House fact sheet estimates this will save $1.8 billion annually and redirect resources toward local news startups that ā€œproduce unfiltered reportingā€. Critics warn it undermines journalistic independence; Trump counters that taxpayer dollars shouldn’t shore up outlets that push ā€œleft-wing propaganda.ā€

āš–ļø Trump Justice Dept. Budget Depoliticizes FBI & ATF
In its fiscal year 2026 request, the Trump Justice Department proposed cutting political-affairs offices in both the FBI and ATF, shifting funds back into frontline crime-fighting units. According to the White House, the plan trims 15 percent of ā€œpolicy coordinationā€ staff while increasing funding for drug-interdiction teams and violent-crime task forces. Attorney General Durham is calling it ā€œa return to core missions - protecting Americans, not policing speech.ā€

šŸ™ National Day of Prayer & Religious Liberty Commission
On the annual National Day of Prayer, President Trump led a White House ceremony emphasizing faith as ā€œthe bedrock of our Republic,ā€ then signed an order establishing a Presidential Religious Liberty Commission. Additionally, he vowed to ā€œdefend the free exercise of faith for every Americanā€ as part of ā€œour founding promiseā€. The Commission will review federal policies that inhibit worship or penalize religious organizations.

šŸŽ“ Trump’s Alabama Commencement Speech
Trump spoke at the University of Alabama to give a commencement speech on Thursday, urging graduates not to see themselves as victims and calling them the ā€œfirst class of the Golden Age of America.ā€ He offered life advice - work harder, persevere through challenges - and tied it to his own political victories, including his first-100-day agenda. Mid-speech, he criticized transgender women in sports, insisting that keeping men out of women’s athletics was vital for fairness and safety. The address drew roaring applause and standing ovations from most attendees, while a smaller group of protesters voiced opposition - underlining the speech’s deeply partisan reception.

President Trump arrives to speak during a National Day of Prayer event in the Rose Garden of the White House on Thursdsay, May 1, 2025.

šŸ”” The Left’s Latest Lawfare Against TrumpšŸ””

A U.S. District Judge, Fernando Rodriguez Jr., has permanently prohibited the Trump administration from using the 1798 Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan migrants in South Texas, ruling that the March proclamation ā€œexceeds the scopeā€ of a wartime statute and is therefore ā€œunlawfulā€.

In his 36-page opinion, Rodriguez wrote, ā€œThe President cannot summarily declare that a foreign nation or government has threatened or perpetrated an invasion or predatory incursion of the United States,ā€ because the administration failed to prove an organized armed attack as required by the Act.

Within the past several weeks, at least seven separate lawsuits have been filed challenging Trump’s executive orders—from border-wall contracts to sanctuary-city funding—arguing that each directive likewise exceeds presidential authority and violates due-process protections. Another suit aims to disqualify senior administration officials by branding them ā€œenemy agents,ā€ a legal theory that could paralyze key national-security appointments if left unchecked.

In response, the administration’s legal team has initiated counter-litigation, filing declaratory-judgment actions to affirm the legality of its policies and seeking sanctions against plaintiffs whom they describe as engaging in ā€œpolitically motivated lawfare.ā€ Representative Jim Jordan, leading the congressional defense effort, declared, ā€œWe will defend every order and stand up for the voters’ mandate in every courtroomā€.

By both defending past actions and pre-emptively challenging new suits, the Trump administration aims to deter future legal attacks and reinforce the separation of powers. As these battles move through district courts and toward appeal, the White House insists that robust defense of executive authority is essential to delivering on its promises.

These lawfare tactics reveal a troubling new trend: silencing bold actions rather than debating ideas. Instead of building the wall, cutting taxes, and putting Americans first, this new strategy relies on courtroom maneuvers to stall every effort to secure our borders, defend our freedoms, and unleash economic growth. But each challenge only sharpens the administration’s resolve, reminding every American that strong leadership—and not endless litigation—is what will restore our nation’s greatness.
