✅TRACKING TRUMP✅

Hey Team! 😎
Big day for education!
Trump campaigned on restoring education in America and looks like he’s making that happen. 🍏
Grievances with the Dept of Education have long been spoken of: Excessive federal control over education, DEI initiatives, misallocation of resources, and declining academic numbers, such as literacy and math proficiency.
President Trump: "Today we take a very historic action that was 45 years in the making. In a few moments I will sign an executive order to begin eliminating the federal Department of Education once and for all."

More on this story below!
In today’s email:
🍎 The Dept of Education
👨🏭 Manufacturing wins
🫏 Democrats caught lying
🏫 EDUCATION: The Trump administration is calling for a major overhaul of the U.S. education system, arguing that decades of federal intervention have yielded no measurable improvements. Since the Department of Education was created in 1979, over $3 trillion has been spent, yet student achievement has stagnated, with math and reading scores reaching historic lows. President Trump’s plan seeks to return control of education to the states, empowering them to develop programs that best serve their students’ needs. His administration argues that eliminating federal bureaucracy will free schools from unnecessary regulations and paperwork, allowing for greater educational freedom and opportunity. The goal is to shift away from centralized control and instead prioritize policies that directly benefit students and families.
🧑💻 MANUFACTURING: Nvidia has announced plans to invest hundreds of billions of dollars in U.S.-based manufacturing over the next four years, further cementing America’s leadership in artificial intelligence under President Trump. CEO Jensen Huang praised the administration’s commitment to supporting the industry and ensuring energy policies don’t hinder AI growth. This investment follows a wave of corporate expansions in response to Trump’s America First trade policies, including Apple’s $500 billion commitment and TSMC’s $100 billion chip manufacturing investment. Other sectors are following suit, with companies in furniture, toys, and autos shifting production back to the U.S. With a surge in domestic manufacturing, Trump’s policies continue to drive economic growth and technological dominance.
🐊 FLORIDA IMMIGRATION: Top Trump administration officials, including DHS Secretary Kristi Noem and border czar Tom Homan, visited Florida to highlight efforts to strengthen immigration enforcement under President Trump. Joined by Gov. Ron DeSantis and former DHS Secretary Chad Wolf, the group discussed expanding state and federal cooperation for mass deportations and cracking down on illegal immigration. Homan and DeSantis criticized birthright citizenship, calling it an incentive for illegal entry, and expressed hope the Supreme Court would address the issue. Meanwhile, Noem joined the U.S. Coast Guard for a drug offload event, praising Trump’s leadership for boosting maritime enforcement and helping seize over 45,000 pounds of narcotics. Since January, Coast Guard forces have tripled along the southern border to support Trump’s national emergency declaration.
📺 COMMON GOODS: President Trump signed a new Executive Order to consolidate federal procurement of common goods and services under the General Services Administration, aiming to eliminate waste, duplication, and inefficiencies across agencies. The move could save taxpayers up to $50 billion annually by standardizing purchases like software licenses, TVs, and identity protection services, which currently vary widely in cost between agencies. GSA has already coordinated the cancellation or streamlining of over 6,000 contracts since January 20, 2025. Agencies will now submit procurement consolidation plans and designate GSA as their lead purchasing agent. This reform is part of Trump’s broader effort to cut government waste and ensure taxpayer money is spent more efficiently.
👩🏫 Trump Signs Order to Close Department of Education 👨🏫
and Return Power to Parents
President Donald J. Trump has officially begun the process of shutting down the Department of Education, fulfilling a key promise to return education authority to states and families. In a bold Executive Order signed today, Trump directed the Secretary of Education to take all necessary steps to close the department while ensuring no disruption in essential services.
The order also blocks any remaining federal education funds from advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion or gender ideology, putting a stop to the radical agendas pushed under Biden’s watch.
Trump made clear: “The time for universal school choice has come,” and vowed to use every power he has to give parents that right.
Since 1979, the Department of Education has spent over $3 trillion, yet student performance has declined.
Under Biden, the department added nearly $4 billion in regulatory costs and wasted over $1 billion on ideological grants, while math and reading scores hit historic lows.
Trump’s move marks a dramatic shift back to local control and parental rights, ending federal overreach and woke indoctrination in America’s schools. “I will close the Department of Education and move education back to the states where it belongs,” Trump declared—and now, he’s delivering.

🍟 Quick Bite News 🍟
🎙️ California Governor Gavin Newsom recently claimed that neither he nor his administration has ever used the term "Latinx." However, CNN's Erin Burnett highlighted that Newsom has used the term in past communications, including a 2019 tweet discussing childhood poverty. This discrepancy raises questions about the consistency of Newsom's rhetoric, especially as he seeks to rebrand himself as a centrist through platforms like his new podcast, "This is Gavin Newsom," where he engages with conservative figures.
🇮🇪 Conor McGregor has officially announced his candidacy for President of Ireland in the upcoming November 2025 election. His campaign centers on opposition to the EU Migration Pact, calling for a national referendum on immigration. McGregor made the announcement shortly after a high-profile visit with Donald Trump at the White House, where he declared his intention to "Make Ireland Great Again." Irish leaders, including the Taoiseach, have criticized his rhetoric, and McGregor still faces the challenge of securing enough parliamentary nominations to appear on the ballot.
✍️ President Donald Trump has rescinded an executive order targeting the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, following the firm's agreement to provide $40 million in pro bono legal services supporting administration initiatives and to revise its hiring practices. The firm also acknowledged the misconduct of former partner Mark Pomerantz, who had previously investigated Trump's finances. This resolution highlights the administration's efforts to address perceived biases in legal practices and to promote merit-based hiring.
🚨 Cortney Merritts, the husband of former Rep. Cori Bush, has been indicted on two counts of wire fraud related to COVID relief funds. Prosecutors allege he falsely claimed employees and revenue on applications to secure over $20,000 from federal loan programs. Merritts has stated he intends to plead not guilty. Cori Bush is not implicated in the charges and faces no legal action in connection to the case.
🏢 Senator Raphael Warnock accused the Department of Government Efficiency of closing five Social Security offices in Georgia and limiting seniors’ ability to claim benefits by phone. He called it an intentional effort to block access to benefits for Georgia seniors. DOGE responded, clarifying that no public-facing field offices were closed, only five remote hearing rooms, which are now obsolete due to virtual hearings. They also stated that Social Security has no plans to close field offices or eliminate access to services nationwide.

God bless,
Mike
